Beginner's luck is how we get hooked on this hobby. I found three rings, two 14k, and other junk jewelry on my second day of detecting with a Tesoro Compadre I had kept locked in a closet for three years. I enjoyed this show for sure. ill tell you a drink a few beers before I metal detect at night at beach and 2 times ive found more beer buried in the beach, tell hubby the only diamond ring I ever found was a lady who was staying at our condo complex lost her ring on the beach with her kids. she knew I metal detected and her daughter came up to me and asked me to help her mom find her ring. I found it in about 5 minutes and it made their day. glad to do it. you hubby is a lucky guy lol. great video I loved it and got a good laugh as well. thanks for sharing
I have a go find 40.great..for beach...its always like that..I got two rings all 2017..beginners luck is a true story..love the portability of the machine and fast set up.saves time.
Yea? I've not taken it to the beach yet. I'm honestly not a fan of the coil on the 20. :/ I'll have to take it to the beach at least once though! :D Yea, it is nice that it folds up so small.
Minlab made the coil square for portability,so you can easy pack in back pack.the coil shape does nothing considering the detecting any detecting..it can be round,Tri angle, square,its just making an magnetic Field at the end of the day.Although a DD coil would have been better..but then the go find series would be over priced.
You would've found that ring but that was funny that your husband found it . Might want to bring out one of your better machines and check the whole property , hope you find many awesome treasures this year
Minelab loves the rust halo that forms around iron. It will give you a positive signal almost every time. You get to know when that happens after a while. Great video. GL & HH

I bought the GoFind 40 for my son and it is a nice upgrade over the 20. The GoFind 40 surprises me with its abilities and he has found quite a few coins with it.

Hello She-Detector! Those nails will ring up as a higher tone if the coil is swung “length-wise” along the nail. (If it’s laying some-what flat in the ground) if your move the direction of your swing 90 degrees, you will find that the tone returns true at a low iron tone. My CTX behaves the same way! Love the giggles with the hubby! lol “Hubby Detector”!

A friend of mine bought a metal detector from a coworker because the coworker wanted to upgrade first time that friend went out with that metal detector at an old trading post that he knew of he found a $5 gold piece, talk about hooked. It sounds like a certain husband is hooked!👍😁
