How do you prevent your drip emitters from clogging with the dutch bucket system?
We have a disk filter after the dosatrons to filter everything before heading out to the emitters. Never had a clog

How old are your tomato plants? We have a very similar set up but up on a stand. We do cherry tomatoes. Our 10 pla ta are about 7 months old.
We started them in Nov 2023 I like the stands for the bato buckets.
@@HomegrownPassion oh wow. How much longer do you think they'll produce? We're an indoor hydro farm in CT. We only have 10 buckets on a 2 foot tall steel frame
We are going to keep them going until middle of October. Our last farm market is October 5 so we like to try and keep selling till the end.
I see "vine ripened" tomatoes at the grocery store. is there a reason they keep the vines on those tomatoes and you don't? is it just a marketing thing?
yes, those are clusters that are harvested. Looks cool to consumers but I wouldn't pay any more for them.
What is a head house? Why is it called a head house?
A service area or building attached to a greenhouse usually for housing the central temperature-control equipment and providing working and storage room.
Not sure why it got that name but that’s what it’s called.
