Google Docs (documents) are fully explored in this tutorial video for anyone looking to get a better understanding of this Google App. This Google Docs Tutorial video is part of my Google for Apps for Education series designed to help help teacher achieve Google Certified Educator Level 1 Status. In this video, educators are show how to create a google document, share a document, use and manage add-ons through the app, type with their voice, create, change, and manage hyperlinks. They are also show how to comment with other individuals, the various sharing options are shown in the video as well as explained in terms of can edit, can view, and can comment. Other tasks in the video include inserting items, counting the numbers of words, and characters in the document. Lastly, the video fully details how classroom teachers can publish their documents on the web, as well as embed the document into a classroom website for all their students, the parents of their students, fellow teachers, administrators, and more. Teachers and educators that view this video are encouraged to view videos part of the Tutorial Google Certified Educator Level 1 playlist to help teachers pass the exam.

I am a senior citizen and very much appreciate your teaching style. You explain as you go and do it slow enough for me to process what you are saying. I am unfamiliar with much of the technical vocabulary and other tutorials have been gibberish and so fast moving that I became very frustrated, feeling defeated in learning. Thank you.

If you find any narration too fast for you, adjust the playback speed to 0.75 instead of normal by clicking on the settings wheel in the bottom right corner of the youtube video screen. You can also increase playback speed of videos too in the same manner by selecting 1.25 or 1.5. That will make slow speakers speak faster to save time. :-) Good luck!
