Go for a jog every single evening for 30 - 45 minutes. You will start slow, getting tired quickly, but doing this every day will help - I am testimony to it. After only two months with this rigorous regime, you will have acquired several times the stamina you have currently, depending on how fit you are when you start it. BUT, not just jogging. Diet is important. I eat nuts (almonds and peanuts mostly), different vegetable (mostly peppers, brocolli) and apples/banana almost every day. If you can't manage a lot, just get something, some sort of fruit in your system, any fruit, and eat it daily. Remember to do stretches for 5 mins before and pref after jogs. That's it. *EDIT* I'm seeing people reading my comment, so I want add something. Play football regularly, at least once or twice a week in a proper match, preferably 5-aside, and give it your all each match. Football stamina is different to regular stamina, in that you'll be sprinting, stopping, sprinting, stopping. 5-aside is fantastic for this, so try to get in a team or just arrange a 5-aside with mates. There you go.
I'm strong, very fast, tall, and okay at shooting and good at skills, what position should I play (used to play cb and I was good there, but where else should I play? A winger? Please help)
Stay at CB! Everyone wants to be up the field, but I promise you will thrive where you have started. If you want to score, concentrate on heading the ball. You can score from set pieces, and frequently get up the pitch for corners, esp as you are tall. Finishing is very tricky! Esp under the pressure as a striker. Perhaps try a few games as a winger (or wing-back) but it's very difficult to suddenly migrate as everything changes up the field. You need to suddenly turn from defensive to attacking minded. I play as a holding midfielder and love it there. I create chances (so can you - practise long balls at far away targets), defend all the time and slot into my CB's position when they go upfield for a corner. I also have some freedom to run with the ball and assist in creating opportunities for a shot. I encourage you to improve more and more as a CB. Remember - you are more important than a striker. You can either be good defender or bad defender, letting people past you and scoring and losing or stopping them and stopping chances and thus not losing. If you are a good CB, and you have poor attackers, a lose is not your fault! But I tell you something, a confident CB is something every single team craves. The knowledge your defenders are good at winning the ball and really rock solid in defence, is a massive confidence boost for attackers who will take more chances which will win you games.
I watched this yesterday and implemented what you showed in my game last night. I got my first hat trick ever. I've been playing for about 3 months now and your videos have definitely helped. Keep 'em coming!
Hi. Thanks for all your videos :) I wish you make more videos on wingers, like simple tricks to beat the defender, like those simple skills you just showed to us. Cheers :)
My four favourite skill moves! The beauty is that they are quite simple in execution but under pressure, as we know everything changes, yet it remains very workable with practice unlike many other complex moves.
Thanks to these videos im actually able to use my speed instead of losing the ball due to the power in my feet from a result of my speed. I can virtually get around any defender now!
imo, one of the best wing tricks is the elastico inside to outside, inside towards the by line and then outwards behind the defender and towards the box for a cross, shot etc, works everytime
A great video idea: two players combining to strip an attacker of the ball. (One contains the attacker while the other patiently waits to clean up the loose ball that comes out of it.)
I always watched ur videos till today and what i see, is that these videos helped me lot, as if the skills were sooo easy, and i hope it will still help me!!! Thx Str Skill School! :)
these skill are very simple to do it, but also very effective. i use them a lot when i'm playing. Great video by the way. the rivelino elastico is really good too, but requires a little bit more technique
Great videos. I would like to find out if this is all good for mini soccer players and do you have any advice on teaching children. In my experience kids football is about a lot of shouting parents and a lot of shouting coaches. Seems to me that just leads to a lack of confidence!!! These vids are superb. My son and I have started to practise them. Thankyou.
I have been coaching a girls rec team in Oklahoma for 4 years and videos like this have made us one of the top teams. This year we have moved on to u11 so offsides is in play. Can you make some videos that show some drills for the offensive and defensive play. I have not seen a video on youtube yet that does. Thanks for your videos
this video helped alot mate can you please make more videos for the left wing position and how to carry the ball forward, when and how to cut in to midfield and how to know how much of ground to cover as a winger and when does to the winger turn and sprint back to defend. . .some more moves on creating space would be really helpful cheers mate!! your videos are really helpful :D :) thumbs up!!
hey Steve, its been great to see all your videos, has been a great learning experience for most of us, I would really appreciate if you can show us some exercises that would help to strengthen our knee ligaments. have suffered the ligament injury and need to be fit again. thanks in advance :)
Awesome video! Maybe you should show some Little exersizes to do to Improve certain parts of football. Forward/winger preferably. Btw, I scored my first goal for my team thanks to your videos :-)!!
There is one small variation of the chop technique which I have seen some players like CR7 to use sometimes. I.e,, instead of chopping with the inside of your foot, chop with the upper side of your boot. Of course to do this, the other foot (faking foot) should be on its toes. This enables a more narrow angle of turn and and minimize the loss of speed during the process. Also since the faking foot is on its toes, you can swivel and turn more quickly.
Could you please do a video for dealing with pressure, because I get nervous or worried that I will loose the ball and I just pass it back to the keeper. Thanks man, keep up the vids!!
This is a great video! It helped a lot as a winger I struggle with attacking down the line somehow my ball ends up getting taken. Can u make an additional video maybe part two to this one on how to adjust to different situations of where pressure is as a winger. For example what to do if a defender is on the line how to beat them etc.
could you make a video on good ways to train alone, like shooting, passing, crossing, ball control...and not the simpel ones for beginners, some more demanding drills...that would be awesome!
I am a left footed/right handed player and I play left wing. In a game/scrimmage, I find it better to meg them when they have their legs open like so at 1:40 (Even though that is a demonstration of how to do the move, many defenders still have their legs open like that during a game.) So now, it may take a bit of practice, but if you are like me using your left most of the time, **this only takes the SLIGHTEST bit of confidence in your right foot if you're a lefty and vice versa** scissor with your right foot and then use your outside touch to push it through their legs. If that is the last defender, awesome! Hello break away!
STR could you do a video about your start as a footballer? And could you give some tips for defensive midfielders ( I don't play at a club, I play at my school and competition is very serious. I pull my team/class to the win, but sometimes I'm low on inspiration.)
hi, skills to use in CM should be things like, Flip flap, zidane turn, and body faints like what messi does they are what i find really throw people off to beat them, take the shot or make a pass.
Hey guys! A good idea for the first skill is also to look back thru your right very fast, than the defence player on your left will think you will stop and than you do the skill. I've already tried and works fine.
Pull-push : 00:36
Scissor/Simple step-over : 01:20
Double step-over : 01:40
Inside out : 02:19
Chop : 03:13
What???
He nearly said "The defender i'm using in the video is just shit" at 2:40
😂😂😂
Lol
i agree
lol
lol
I have a cup final today so thanks for this video. I've never heard of that first skill.

Marco Luis no
Thank you. I will try to make it.
I'm a cb but i can play as any type of midfileder my only problem is that i don't have stamina.... How can i gain stamina?
Same here man. My stamina is SHIT.

ArunPlaysPiano Aw thanks man! I would definitely try it.
Mr.Kod run 1-2 miles per day for week then 3-4 miles (jogging) and do the ladder
The bad thing about me is that when i sprint my ass off for like 10 seconds i get super tired
That is great to hear. I will be making so many more videos for subscribers.
I'm strong, very fast, tall, and okay at shooting and good at skills, what position should I play (used to play cb and I was good there, but where else should I play? A winger? Please help)
Left or right wing, if you are good at finishing also a stricker bro, good luck
Keep playing on cb maybe you can become pro ;)

Thanks Luke.
imo, one of the best wing tricks is the elastico inside to outside, inside towards the by line and then outwards behind the defender and towards the box for a cross, shot etc, works everytime
Love it as I am myself a winger! Thank you, next please show us how to bring the ball down like Drogba does so well when he west it down!
A great video idea: two players combining to strip an attacker of the ball. (One contains the attacker while the other patiently waits to clean up the loose ball that comes out of it.)
Quality Steve. I like how you've broken down the moves. Exainedwhy, where and when and given players that we can watch.
Thumbs up from me :-)

these skill are very simple to do it, but also very effective. i use them a lot when i'm playing. Great video by the way. the rivelino elastico is really good too, but requires a little bit more technique
