    This is so awesome.
Reminds me of RoboCop meets Sunset Riders.

The title was really ahead of it's time for 89. It also foretells the future of cops shooting everyone. Actually looks like a pretty good game

It's a shame this version wasn't released for the Sega Genesis.

There were a trick with the boomerang guy, you could beat him with only one kick after emptying the bullets.

For the second boss (the one with boomerang) you could just empty your gun first before fighting him. Then just go straight at him and kick him. It easier to do this way because he will KO in one or two kicks.

I’d say it was a a straight off rip off of Data East’s Robocop game. Sega already had Shinobi anyway which this had very similar gameplay to, but Eswat with the cyborg cop and same game design as Robocop.

I see a lot of Data East influence in this, particularly Robocop and Bad Dudes vs Dragon Ninja. There are also some similarities with Sly Spy: Secret Agent though I believe it came out shortly after. It's safe to say this was a popular style at the time and most arcade manufacturers were borrowing ideas from each other.
