Shout out to the editor whether it's Tyler or the camera man, music is so good with the transition in and out and with the right volume. Also, hilarious banters between the boys which make the channel so enjoyable 👍
Awesome trip guys , great to see the true north guys tagged along for a night. This is shaping up to be a great series, already looking forward to next episode 🤙.
Good to see the True North boy's with you , their a good laugh and I love their videos as well which reminds me Stevie and Marc , when is the next video? Looks like it's gonna be a great trip lad's!
We were coming from the north and my dad in his 200 series cruiser snapped his tailshaft and 1 front axle early on in the track, So i had to tow him for hours through the rest of the track in the good old 4.5L GU patrol! Great track but would have been better without lugging a 4 tonne dead weight cruiser haha.
I've got to get down there some day. Bunch of great people!❤ I love the trust at the gas pump. "Just tell us how much you pumped."❤ You might never see that in the States anymore.😢 Never realized in all this time that Burto's car was green until he talked about the shirts😂😅😂 I always thought it was blue!😂😅😂 Cheers, Tyler!🎉
What a great first trip episode. Quality was fantastic with good backing music. Not typical ytube stuff. Don't have to bung on shit like 4wd action. Great stuff Tyler. That pie looked tasty but horrible for driving lol...
burto's summary of Maytown was classic.... Done, lets get... Tyler - done the Same ole with a 4x4.....when you going to buy a Subaru AWD and have some real fun
You're so spot on. In 2011 we though we were buying the ultimate 4X4, a 76 series. I often describe the adventure like this. They make everything seems soo arduous and technical often requiring diff locks that you as a driver think you've truly achieved something. That was soo challenging, right! Wrong!! After that, take on the same terrain in another vehicle, in my case, our old IFS 2002 Jackaroo that we thought we were updating from, the Jackaroo just drove the terrain, no fuss, no obscure unsettling wheel lifts, no diff locks, it just did it with so much ease in comparison. Our next vehicle, 2016 GU Patrol, bugger all wheel lift, totally settled, (diff lock, if I've utilised it more than 10 times in 7 years I'd be so surprised), like the Jackaroo, it just gets on with the task and doesn't feel radical doing it. Learnt to despise that infernal 76, so much hype around them.
Really appreciate the episode especially as I’m heading soon and intend to do the Old Coach Rd (OCR). Question for you, I’m taking my Opus 4 and just wanted to know your thoughts on taking a Posu 4 on the OCR?
Great channel Love the adventures of the dwarf and the Sasquatch. Actually you should rename the channel 4wd adventures of the dwarf the sasquatch and the redhhead repunzel. Repunzel being that shes never much on the show locked away..like repunzel. Now that would be unforgettable stand out advertising worth a mint!
The Racoon meat in those particular pies has a low viscosity & has a tendency to squeeze out of the tiniest pastry tears like sea water entering a submarine at pressures of around 10km deep.
I did it a month or so after they did it 2 years ago in my D40 navara - well it's running GQ diffs, front locker. but hoping to do that line in my TB48 in the next year.
What a spin out, that white dog in Laura latched onto my dogs head from behind out the front of the shop. I Literally had to beat the fuck out of it to try make it let go. Ended up picking it up and turning it upside down and it let go. Bastard bit me right through my finger 😂 fuck that was a good trip!
Never seen a pie go so bad 🤣
Absolute travesty of a pie meal there 😂
Don't blame the pie just poor technique
Stevie has a unique talent 🤣
@@ricey396no way we’re coping the blame for that 😂 pie base scored a 0/10 for integrity.
🤣🤣🤣
Burto's comments are priceless.... he adds so much value to these vids. Brilliant as usual Tyler. Thanks for the entertainment. Love it.
His maytown reiview is a bloody crack up 😂😂
Appreciate it mate, glad you're enjoying the videos!
Imagine how funny the stuff he’d say off camera is that isn’t allowed on RUclips 😭
“Owner of the worst colour GQ in AU”love that 😂
🤣
Great episode to the entire crew! Loved the music edit, really added to the story!
Glad you enjoyed it!
1:45 in and I'm in stitches over lack of pie eating skills.
Eating a pie one handed while driving. Always pays to keep the bottom half in the paper bag.
😊

Excellent choice of song for intro. One of my favourites from the early seventies. The Hollies. Top notch vid. Looking forward to the next week
Many thanks!
Great episode Tyler the back ground music fantastic really suited good to see your old man loving his GU can't wait for the next week cheers legends 😄

Great start on your Cape York trip. And some wise words from Burto "You're a long way home..." while trying to tackle the hard line.
Cheers mate!
The music was on point this episode!!! 👌

Awesome vid the banter is classic and bloody good music choices 👌

What a trip mate 🤙🏻🏴
Love watching and listening to those TD42 GQ Patrols. Awesome vid. Was like being at the movies watching this episode.
Thanks 🙏
Great episode , was it Steve from True North that did the creb track with you a few seasons back ?
Looking forward to the rest of the series
Thanks mate, yep correct!

Gary the bloody legend not getting upset about that track top episode guys 👏
The old boy looks stoked on his rig good on ya for giving him that experience
Great stuff again mate! It was tops meeting you in gympie last week 👍👍
Cheers mate, you too!
Bloody awesome episode
you've nailed the music. 👌
Great ep Tyler, really well put together with the music 👌🏽

Music selection gave it just that much more. Awesome ep bro

Great watch!! Must get back up there 🙏🏻
Cheers Timmy!
Another great video. Can’t wait for the next one.
Good to see Ky back on 👏
Burto's quick cut explanation of Maytown was hilarious ahah! Blokes funny behind the camera
Sir I believe your missing a wheel nut on the drivers front at 5:50 into the vid hope it all goes well
Yep don't have it the entire cape trip haha, was a bit of a mix up and the spare wheel nuts I took didn't't fit so was one down till we got back
@@TylerThompson90 brave brave man haha. Looks like a great trip so far
A great trip and a great choice of tunes. 👋
Looks like Garry is loving the Patrol life !!
Pretty standard, patrols just idling through & the 79 lifting wheels left, right & centre making it look 10x harder than it is!😂
Just the usual 🤣

Cracka episode fellas! Not sure if you’d like the Oombi track if you thought that was rough… 500kms of it 🤣
Might struggle on that one 🤣
Cool tunes only 5 mins in 👍👍😊
Did Tyler see uncle poolys vid last week with the song on it from the hollies🤔😅 cool tunes though. Always good to watch.
Cheers mate!
Went too early you came through Tyler and showed the map. We’ll done should never have doubted you
The Maytown Track was by far my favourite track of the whole lower cape last year
Happy trails, Cowpokes
I think that middle section that you failed to climb is the same place Rubin broke his Y62 on the 4WD 24/7 trip a few years ago.
Yep correct
Imagine spending all this coin on these rigs only to complain the whole time that the trail is too rocky and rough 😆😆
Loving the video but no idea where the tracks are your taking. Would have loved a map to get an idea of where you traveled.
Burto is exactly the same height as a 35 inch tyre
Really appreciate the episode especially as I’m heading soon and intend to do the Old Coach Rd (OCR). Question for you, I’m taking my Opus 4 and just wanted to know your thoughts on taking a Posu 4 on the OCR?
Yeah shouldn't be a drama, would just have to take your time as its pretty rough
Where did you get the tail lights from of the cruiser? Love em!
Too much wheeling starting to not appreciate how good you’ve got it
I think Tyler was a mermaid in a previous life 😂
You will have to do it again you missed the hardest loop up to the summit😮 entertaining as usual.👍
Yeah that's closed now unfortunately, big sign and have a camera there etc
I remember my first time eating a pie too 😂
Lola...just for the cruiser boys🤭
Hey mate nice video. Where did you get the map?
It's just the Cape York HEMA map, bought it online
Oh beauty thanks mate

Should be a Bunyip in Oz!
Great vid.. Lovely country....
That pie should've been thrown after the 1st bite
The Racoon meat in those particular pies has a low viscosity & has a tendency to squeeze out of the tiniest pastry tears like sea water entering a submarine at pressures of around 10km deep.
@@cliffbooth7075couldn’t have explained it better. I take it you’ve been stitched up by the same pie?
holy crap... 5:25 look at the debris in the trees... that was very deep at some point.
I'm here to hear Tyler say " bitta lunch"
😂😂 sweaty sloth. Classic.
Great video lads.
Rookie pie eating 😂
Ouch…😢
I think you need a knife and fork lol@@TrueNorthAdventures
That obstacle on the OCR looks familiar. Is it where Reuben destroyed he's patrol front diff?
Yeah that's where he had some mechanical dramas
I did it a month or so after they did it 2 years ago in my D40 navara - well it's running GQ diffs, front locker. but hoping to do that line in my TB48 in the next year.
Tyler what reduction gears you both running
I have 63% and Burto has 85%
Don’t blame the pie learn to eat 😂
The only way to eat that pie would’ve been on a plate with a knife and fork 😂
What a spin out, that white dog in Laura latched onto my dogs head from behind out the front of the shop. I Literally had to beat the fuck out of it to try make it let go. Ended up picking it up and turning it upside down and it let go. Bastard bit me right through my finger 😂 fuck that was a good trip!
That sounds wild haha
Amazing!!
Eating a pie while driving is a bad idea
Pie blow out. Nothing worse when its still molten lava inside.
Eat and drive is illegal for a heads up. Not something to record. I enjoyed the video.
Great music again
GREAT😊
Tyler definitely likes the Offspring.
5:41 looks like ya missing a wheel nut
How are you able to use these great songs with out copyright? Love the choir of songs feels like I’m on the road trip too😁
I pay for the rights to use them in an episode
@@TylerThompson90 I thought so, I was under the impression they cost allot of money. Are some songs more expensive than others?
@@ssusggus most of them are $8 US dollars to use in a single episode.
Trust a 79 driver not to know how to eat a pie 😂
Said the same thing once I finished the track as well hahaha
Buy the way forgot...Super for popping in a SAXON SONG YEAH......
You never eat a pie or drink coffee in yr Landcruiser it’s a no no
79 series LC on 33s but why?
The GQ's are just Unmatched off-road let's be honest...Garry's gu looking tough as now too
Mad max worthy exhaust sound 4.2 diesel.
by eating the pie upside down the pie is save as
Berto & Shaun or Bert & Ernie?
Wheres ya seatbelt dad 🤬
