🇪🇸 SPAIN 2024: Catedral de Sevilla

On our first day in Seville (and Spain), we joined a rooftop tour of Seville Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and the site of Christopher Columbus's tomb. We had booked our tickets ahead of time, and the evening rooftop tour was the only guided option still available. The experience was absolutely incredible-we were blown away by the stunning city views, especially with the amazing sunset, and the impressive architectural styles. I particularly enjoyed seeing the Rose Window, La Giralda (the bell tower), and the cupola on the rooftop. Since the tour was in the evening, the cathedral was closed to visitors, providing a tranquil escape from the usual hustle and bustle of tourists. It was very peaceful, with birds flying overhead and a choir group practicing below.
