Actually, they are from Québec just like me. If you don't know, it's an old french colony that is now a part of Canada. We still speak in french and our distinct culture is really important for us. As you can see, a lot of artists find it important to sing in french. And if this french sounds different, it's just because we have a really recognizable accent. What's for sure is that we have some great artists! If I can recommend some to you, I would say Thierry Larose which played with her in the video, Ariane Roy, Hubert Lenoir, Jean Leloup, Les cowboys fringants and many others but there's too much of them. 😅
