If going to play a lot I'd make them all the same colour on back otherwise you'd start to know what you're picking. You can even Design anything you want and use the specific tricks etc that you want & work best where you ride. Any bike is a good bike bud, it's maybe not as strong as a big branded bike and will likely get looked down on at bike parks but honestly who cares, any bike is better than no bike bud, just enjoy it 👍
@@tannerbown3379 no worries, to be fair your first bike is ideal for learning if that's what you're after, you'll probably fall off a few times, better to fall off a cheaper bike than a couple thousand pound bikes I got my Rockhopper Expert from Facebook Marketplace so if you happen to keep an eye out and get lucky there's bargains to be had too just make sure they're not shifty sellers etc

#GMBN the Scrub actually originally came from James Stewart trying to avoid hitting another rider while passing him on a jump, it was never an intentional time saver initially. He had a bad start and was coming through the pack. It was completely accidental, but he realised he could hit the jump faster, yet stay lower, and get wheels on the ground sooner. Later that same race, he started to do it intentionally and experiment to see if his laptimes got better. They did, thus the invention of the "bubba scrub". It was the 2003 season, and I believe it was at either Highpoint raceway or the Steel City raceway round. I'm not 100% on the round as my memory isn't great these days, but it was definitely in '03. By 2004,other racers had caught on to what he was doing, and it's now something that you need to learn if you want to stay competitive in MX.
A real scrub is properly done on a straight jump. That's where Bubba (James Stewart) made it famous by how much more horizontal and flat he made the move on a straight jump - truly stylish! It's much easier on a turning jump like these guys did, but they did it well without the horsepower of an MX bike.
