Wow lot of memories here. I spent 18mths on wd2 due to childhood onset rheumatoid arthritis 1978 to 80. 250 miles from home and family. Many childhood friends not spoken to since it closed. Thx for saving my life Dr B Ansell (RIP) , Bobby Jarvis physio and the many others nurses etc on wd 2 and throughout that great hospital. Truly wonderful place.
