    I can agree with some points, however, the bumping up or down rankings isn't USTA's problem. its the tournament director's. And in some situations the director's hand is forced if there is 15 4.0s but only 5, 3.5 they would have to do something to make it more fun for players to play even if they are playing at a higher level. Also at the junior level, as a junior player, I would love to play a class up, its not about winning, id rather lose the match but compete with a 4.0 then walk over the 3.5 level. I don't think its a good thing to be forced to play down. Also most top players that will make it to the ATP will not be playing local USTA tournaments. If they are good they will go to academies or go to the junior level tour. You are exactly right about fitness is nessasary, but it isn't everything, it doesn't matter if they get there to the ball they cant strike the ball well and place it. I played a guy recently super fast but tapped everything back down the middle. I won 6-0 6-0 because he tapped it down the middle so I could just place it make him run then hit a winner.To the point of you, yes USA players aren't great right now, but to be competing for grand slams, you really need to be inside the top 5, really top 3. That means to compete there is only 5 spots globally.

      Thank you for your comments, when I am speaking about speed and quickness, if you play the person you beat easily and they start playing better with more pace and placement, you will have your hands filled because the person you played had no weapons to hurt you. But if you take a guy like Sell which hits every shot great and has great defense, but lacks speed and quickness to beat the top 50 players in the world, because they can run down any shot he can hit, and he can’t do the same. When a person enters a tournament and isn’t put in the right rankings and lose badly in the first round, do you think they will ever play another tournament, or even want to play tennis again? People who are losing like this thinks they aren’t good at tennis,, they are just put in a position that is way above their level. I really appreciate your comment and honesty and I will speak about the points you mention here in a video, because you mentioned to many great things to write it all down. I truly appreciate your comment and your support my friend. Thank you

    Love the rant! I'm not a fan of the USTA. You were showing the racquets you are currently using and talking about getting a Wilson Blade. I'm curious as to what string you are using. Have you tried different polys or multifilaments?

    • @Shaunsweeney-Kubach71
      @Shaunsweeney-Kubach71  2 месяца назад

      I use 16 gauge Hyper G on mains, and Genesis 17 gauge on my crosses, and I string the Profiles at 48 mains and 44 crosses, 46 mains and 42 crosses, 38 mains and 34 on crosses, and the Babalot Hyper G 16 gauge and Genesis 16 gauge on crosses at 52 pounds on both Babalots. I string the Profiles a little differently my friend.
      Because the Profiles are the stiffest Racquets are made by Wilson, these Profiles are from West Germany first edition, they aren’t the 2.7 Profiles! Thank you for your support and good comments my friend. I like my set up on strings because the ball seems to grip the tennis ball really good, and I play doubles and the strings are really good for touch, and feel pretty good. I would also add that this set up works good on serves, like the kicker, and slice serves, seem to really grip the ball and it feels good on the arm, and I seem to be more accurate on the serve. The profiles are good for serving and volley strokes. I hit with Wilson Blade v9 and the V6 without vibration system, the Wilson Blade v9 is very similar to the Profile stiffness.
      I was hitting with the Club pro he is my friend, and told me to try the Wilson Blade V9 and I was striking the ball so clean and I was hitting really good and I really had a lot of fun playing on the clay, it was a ton of fun my friend. Hopefully one day we can hit sometime, I think it would be fun. Thank you my friend.
