Beautiful grain leather shoes; especially the Bison. I like these care and wear videos. I am a big proponent of toe plates for the purpose they serve and for the way they look.
"Shoes are made to be worn and not coddled". Brilliant. I will remember that as I am looking at my expensive and beautiful Church's shoe collection. Thank you for this video and discussion.
I knew of someone that had a Garage Queen Porsche 911. Only drove the car when the streets were dry every week or two. I was like that when I first got into fine shoes and clothes. Now I enjoy them every chance I get. If cared for, they will look better as they age. Enjoy those Church's!
While on the topic of shoe care, is there a way to care for the inside? I noticed the insides of my shoes tend to get dirty, particularly the suede heel patch in the back. I tried cleaning the insides with vinegar and a tooth brush, but they’re still all dirty. I’m usually on my feet moving around for 6 or more hours a day, so I noticed the insides get pretty dirty.
Cleaning the lint with a edge brush is all I usually do although it very dry I’ll use a conditioner on the lining from time to time. In terms of stain removal I’ve never done anything on the inside.

I just like to look at my shoes...and touch them haha

I have listened to this video while working just for the sounds of the brushing. Good audio quality.
The Japanese shiners remove all the polish and cream before adding new treatments on.
I only do that once a year or two. Not every time.
