Can't wait to see these new boots. Probably time for me to invest in a pair of Origin boots. Hopefully, they will send a pair to Rose Anvil for review and to be cut in half.

You must not wear hand lasted or stichdown constructed boots.
@@colinw2104 no clue. Most of my career, boots have been covered as part of the PPE, so I’ve worn what’s been supplied.
Having the ability AND the desire to make your product better is amazing!
My 3 year old Origin Boondockers are my go-to yard and welding boots. So comfortable and take a beating. Just bought 2 pairs of Jim greens, though, so these will need to wait until next year, and I am looking forward to them!

@StAustin101 I'm loving them so far. Much lighter than my Nick's and Origin, great for casual wearing & disc golf (I have the barefoot African Rangers)
A collab video with y’all and White’s would be cool to see. I think that they’re the only production boot maker that offers hand welting along with their stitchdown construction.
goodyear and stitch down construction are my personal favorite so glad they are adding one of them.
Dillon definitely embodies the Maine spirit.

Love the dark color of the London boots but, you’re right there is something about that amber color that is very classy. Really would love to come up there and get fitted for boots if I’m going to spend that much on a pair… or two😊

Origin doesn't hold a candle to even the PNW budget lines, in style and construction. From their debut video on their boot line, they've had this "nobody else is doing this in the US anymore" schtick. Has been a real turnoff.
@@___demo Yeah they should change their market to bringing it back to new england but you've got LL Bean and New Balance. Their boots are still to boxy.
@@___demothat's true but, a lot of boot manufacturers that claim made in the USA don't source everything in the US from what I've seen

@@___demoI own several pair of Nick’s and a pair of White’s and a pair of Iron Rangers. For the price Origin makes a solid boot. I easily spent twice the price on 1 pair of Nicks so of course their standards are going to be higher. You’re comparing $600 boots to $300 boots. Nick’s don’t really have a budget line and White’s was bought out so how long do you give it before they start outsourcing production with only select styles being made in the USA and quality goes down.

The boot upgrade definitely makes me need a pair. I wish you guys still had a 100% cotton jean option. Polyester blends started giving me heat rash, and it's getting hard to find 100% cotton work clothing.
If I were a younger man, I'd be knocking on your door to learn this trade. Impressive stuff. My first heritage moc toe just might be an Origin. Respect what you guys are doing and what you represent.
My boots will be here tomorrow, found ya all from a simple search for American handmade boots, and I am now discovering who ya all are, I can't be more happy with how I choose to spend my money on your boots.

Origin is making Moc-Toes now? Make em in steel toe and I know where my next pair is coming from! I usually get Thorogoods, last pair I bought a cheap brand that's made decent more less to try out and review but, I love my Coronado's for wearing around and Moc Toes are my go to for work.

Please use a wider last than Redwing! I wanted a moc toe, but bought the iron ranger because it came in 7EE. Not sure how Origin sizes but plan to find out . Starting with the pants this fall. We will see how much more time the Hagar tech pants have left in the knees

I love Origin. I wish they didn't have any fabric lining. Except for thy hybrid boot which I wish had only a canvas unlined shaft.

What about the waterproofing? I'm talking about the work boots
Waterproof leather boots are a myth. waterproofing works past a couple week of wear when the thin plastic layers start to crack. I recommend getting some kind of rubber muck boot if you are constantly in water. Or fisherman boots.
@@Crypt0rkid do you own a pair of their work boots? You can't even walk in a puddle without water getting in the boots. Boots with gusseted tongues for water resistance like Thorogoods, Georgia boots don't do that. Origin boots have had the worst water resistance of any work boot I've owned.

Yea this for sure. @bearfootshoes has a great boot but origin would be amazing
@@thenoblesavage I was going to try Bearfoot, but they poked the lace holes through the tongue which effectively makes it non-gusseted. Jim Green has too pointy of a toebox in their barefoot African rangers.
If Origin does it, hopefully they fully commit to the proper width and shape like Freet and Be Lenka does

Origin, love your stuff but come on… dead? Thorogood and every PNW boot manufacturer do welted boots just off the top of my head.
If you REALLY wanted to make a dent in the boot making world with a statement......Pay close attention to how boots are made in the PNW. Like JK Boots, Nicks or Whites. Last them by hand and do a stitch down construction. Your Goodyear welted boots suck. I'll pay $500+ for a hand lasted, stichdown boot before paying $300 for a goodyear welted pair
