- The Flex Yak 55 paired with a Dualsky XM3542! This setup spins a Flex/Dualsky 13x6.5 carbon prop and uses the stock 50amp ESC. I am running the Potenza 6S 1500mah 100C battery.
Certainly no shortage of power and performance with this setup!
Roll machine. You have out-of-site pilot skill. Love watching you fly.

Good call on going to Dualsky instead of the Flex motors. The difference in power is evident.
I bought a Mamba and pulled the motor without flying it first. I posted here the performance and got jumped all over. And now the flex team is doing the same. Flex motors are junk
@@alwaysflying6540 yup, you could tell watching jase’s videos from the when he first joined flex. Not enough muscle. Now I hope he can convince Flex to get the QC improved on the foamys. I’ve built three and they leave ALOT to be desired.
@cherrybomb48 Yes, you're right on the foam.i mentioned that as well and people jumped all over me but its true. I live in Canada so even the mamba 10 v1 landed on my doorstep and fees paid was 550. I just expected better quality from flex. The flipside is their airframes fly well. I do have say the new laser looks like a Diablo not a laser

I just wish I could get mine to fly decent with the stock motor. Moving the CG way back helped a ton but it’s still goofy. Maybe it’s more of an XA plane than a 3d. I should have gotten the Extra instead. Flew one that belongs to a friend and it flew nicely.

Jase how far back do you run your CG on this airframe? The further back I move my CG the better it flies, but I can’t move my 1500mah pack any further back now. I will have to get lighter packs to get the CG back any further.
So is it official? Sunnysky with flex?
When will this motor/prop combo be available to buy?
I'm confused. Does anybody know what the exact motor in this plane is? The video graphics say one thing, Jase writes another (but not the kV). Does anybody know? Prop adapter too for the 13*6.5 would be great. Thank you in advance.

Sorry, I had to flick through this one... that rowdy music kills it for me. This will likely be the last video I will try watching, I will unsub and enjoy watching you on Cleetus's channel when you are there... it is fantastic to see your flying without that ghastly music. It is much better to hear the plane doing it's thing than that overbearing noise. I will look forward to your next appearance on Cleet's channel. All the best. Greetings from Down Under
