Excelent Video! Can we show the price with discounts in the product detail page instead of showing only in the cart?

Hey! Not currently, discounts only show on cart and checkout page. You could do this with customization but it’s not out of the box

Our company has Salesforce Commerce lighthning UAT Sandbox and we wish to create a Tiered Promotion as describe at 12:47 of this video, however we do not see on the New Promotion set-up box the check box for Tiered Promotion. I do not have admin access at me level, but how do I tell our developer for SF where to look for in the Setup Object Manager where and how to add the checkbox for Tiered Promotions on the New Promotion dialog pop-up box?

Excellent, as always! In the first BOGO example, I noticed the Tax in Cart Summary didn't change when the promotion was applied. Is there any way to update the tax amount without going to the checkout page?

Hey Petar! Good eye on that detail. Taxes by default only show in cart after you’ve gone to checkout and back to cart. So in a situation where you go through it from cart to checkout you wouldn’t see any taxes on cart.
I do believe there is a new extension coming out in beta in June that is targeted at this use case but I haven’t spent much time digging into that specific use case.
Anything is possibly with a bit of customization though!

    Thank you! Great video!
QQ. what is the difference between the Start/ End Date on the Promotion Record VS Coupon record? why 2 different dates can be setup?
Also, how does it work when you have multiple currencies involved? Lets say you want to give $ 100 Off qualifier over $ 1000 USD.... what happens if you have Japanese Yen?

      Hey Pedro, really good questions.
The promotion dates are the overall ‘campaign’ of using the promotion, while coupons can have smaller windows of time within the overall promotion. So I could have a promotion running all year but smaller week long coupons writhing that year for specific accounts or users I give them out to.
So I’m not positive on this, so if you end up diving into this use case more I’d love to learn what you find out. I believe the currency iso code field is on both the discount and qualifier objects and those would be configured to a specific currency and you’d setup one for each currency it qualifies for.
