This is a great map to start on but you need to do a few things differently. Start on the opposite side of the meadow. Build the forestry first, (leave room for a warehouse) and the clay pit next to that space. Then put the thatchery next to it. Staff the forestry with two males, the thatchery with one male. Now build your nine homes, as you wait, set up 4 charcoal piles, since the only available workers are the women. As soon as the homes are built, pause and select a site for the farm with six large fields; one for buckwheat, one potato and one wheat, the others are set to fallow and then the crop. Staff it with females. Now build the warehouse, staff it with a female, and tell her to stock 30 iron and 500 nail, this will empty the tent. Now build the smitty, staff it with a male, then build a carting shed and move the carts into it. Then build a carpentry, you'll need a male here, as your carts are wearing out and the more c arts you have the easier it is to build. This means you will now have just 2 workers. Okay, did I mention that the warehouse can hold 30 thatch and 400 firewood? Once you have at least 21 thatch, lay the worker off. Three workers can now build 3 wells in your market area, build the grainery, staff it with a female and st it to receive 100 of everything except dried fish. Set up three market stalls, female workers, first stall sells firewood, buckwheat, potato and wheat. Add a carting shed as well. Remember you have 9 women workers but only 8 men, the mayor doesn't work. So now you need at least 6 houses to get 6 more female farm workers, and the men you need to staff the thatchery and replenish charcoal. Remember, food is the key, make your fields big enough to produce, but small enough to harvest before winter.
If you build benches near your work places, your people won't have to go all the way home to sit down and rest. It'll get things done faster and easier
Read Description! Lovin' your stuff since I first encountered you for the Anno 1800 series - both the campaign and the sandbox. Keep up the good work. We're watchin'.
I kinda got lost in the build series . i was confused on why you would start building another settlement and then I realized this is a new play series . haha
I think you need to spread out the houses near to the work area so that it will be more productive...they don't have cars or bikes at this time as you can see😀
Love the video my only complaint is that you should of called it season 2, I didn’t watch at first as I thought it was from the past season but great video and game non the less 👍🏻
BaHaEzZz yeah . but I think he just forgot to micro manage the hiring options . Women can be laborers too either by hand or cart . Women can almost work at every building , aside from the hard labor buildings . The FARM , COWSHED , SHOE MAKER , OIL FACTORY TAILOR , WAREHOUSE , MARKET , GRANARY are the ones i knew that could hire women . And you can also set the hiring options to just hire women And that frees up the men to do be the builders and fishermen and woodcutters.
Just watching this is making me think about buying a computer that would be good enough for it time in on. I'm guessing you need a super expensive and fast computer for it?
How is your houses build so fast??? In my game the builders are so lazy that they always rest. Is there other way to solve it? Taking their bench would be a good idea... Hehe. I already restarted my game many times.
Pls check the hiring options and always prefer women . To free up the men to be builders . and women can also be laborers by enabling It in the hiring or delivery options . women carry the materials or use cart Whichever is available to them .
I saw someone start farms instead of fishing first. The potatoes had enough time to grow. It gave the woman jobs at the farms so more people woking. fishing takes men and 2 buildings plus building boats. better to make farms.
I am on my 8th or 9th town/ time playing and am stuck at a point where the game is telling me I am out of coal and yet I have three coal stacks and two wood fields and I just don’t know what to do, I need nails, any advice would be great. I also have not had ANY people move in to my town even with vacant homes.
It might be that laborers aren't coming to collect the coal from the stacks. I've had that problem before, where my population was spread so thin that there was almost nobody free to be a laborer, thus nobody collected coal.
Also why are the houses so far away from the town so that’s inefficient and your building to much at once you don’t have millions of people and only the men can build so you have even less people to build
I just started to watch the video and I already see so many things your doing wrong like the town placement it isn’t right next to a forest that’s not even efficient and the Forester building it’s place quite aways from camp and the forest it’s next to is small but there’s a huge forest closer to the town
Your Layout Makes No Sense , Why Build The Forestry/Lumber Industrial Area Next To The Smaller Forest Area ? The Better Option Would Have Been Too Build It Useing The Larger Forest Area Near The Clay Pit ..
I honestly find it a bit smart get rid of the small Dorset first before starting with the huge to build more little towns and after that build another forestry delete that one and start with the huge one. Plus everyone builds or starts a game differently it’s all about trial and error.
How come in school they tell us the day was in May 6ths 1941. Bull on TV shows like mysteries of the abandoned they tell us the day was on June 6 in 1944 and we won in 45. I am confused can somebody please help me???

Wouldn't that mean no babies?
@@JayJayGamerOfficial , why? It's not like they wouldn't go home ever. They just wouldn't have to go home during working hours
Thanks for elaborating
JayJayGamer you made me laugh. Hahahahhaa.
Excellent! I'm glad you continued with the series. Hail New Raptoria!!!
I’m so glad you kept playing this game and started a new city after the last one! I really love watching this game!
So glad you're keeping the Ostriv series, it's great to watch you play this game. Keep it up!
Read Description!
Lovin' your stuff since I first encountered you for the Anno 1800 series - both the campaign and the sandbox. Keep up the good work. We're watchin'.
Im so happy you restarted 😊 playthrough with less learning curves! Yes!!!!
Thanks for doing another town. Love watching your gameplay.
i like these types of city builders, each new settlement is an improvement on the last as you learn how the mechanics work
Raptor great vid.see if you can make this series at least 15
Zanebo 64 it got to 12 you happy? xD
I kinda got lost in the build series .
i was confused on why you would start building another settlement
and then I realized this is a new play series . haha
That and the game moved into Alpha 2 instead of Alpha 1.
I think you need to spread out the houses near to the work area so that it will be more productive...they don't have cars or bikes at this time as you can see😀
I hope you continue this gameplay-series long, since my Computer is too bad for this game and so I only can watch letsplays :(
Nice Videos!
Klinkenstecker22 it’s kinda nice just watching someone else play. Except when they put things in places you wouldn’t lol
Is this available on steam or just their website, great video as always mate
Put the homes of the employees near their workplace so they can be more efficient.
Raptoria: From the top of debt to barely out of debt.
More please, enjoyed this.
Trying using F and Y to rotate buildings by 90 and 180 degrees. It makes aligning things way easier!
My dads birthday is on this day (the day this video was made)
The Dutch demand windmills!
Love the video my only complaint is that you should of called it season 2, I didn’t watch at first as I thought it was from the past season but great video and game non the less 👍🏻
if you hover over population you can see the repartition of the workforce, i think last time you had way too many unemployed women
BaHaEzZz yeah . but I think he just forgot to micro manage the hiring options .

Make New Raptoria Great Again!!
It's not Raptoria, it's Raptorsk now :)
More episodes pls asap
Just watching this is making me think about buying a computer that would be good enough for it time in on. I'm guessing you need a super expensive and fast computer for it?
Love watching your videos during my lunch time as work. Keep up my man. Hope you have more viewers and subscribers. 😊😊
Keep up my man.
It looks like Banished
One thing I notice, they should add days and nights, and date.
New patch came out today. Read description.
Too short but loving a new series.
How is your houses build so fast??? In my game the builders are so lazy that they always rest. Is there other way to solve it? Taking their bench would be a good idea... Hehe. I already restarted my game many times.
The thing is that you don’t need the thatchery the first year u only need wood and homes
Winter is coming

Just build a massive city until it implods lol
Where can i see a review for this game?
i couldn't find it in steam
search ostriv on google
i was making a mint on this with 4 chicken farms and selling eggs as in no time i had over 10,000 eggs, sad thing is could only sell 20 at a time..
see if you can make this series at least 20 or more
Thank you for doing an other one.
Pls check the hiring options and always prefer women .
To free up the men to be builders . and women can also be laborers by enabling
It in the hiring or delivery options . women carry the materials or use cart
Whichever is available to them .
where can i download the game ?????
Um.... How is this Sandbox? There is no Sandbox feature in the game?
I saw someone start farms instead of fishing first. The potatoes had enough time to grow. It gave the woman jobs at the farms so more people woking. fishing takes men and 2 buildings plus building boats. better to make farms.

Restart, time to git gud.
Why do you build everything on top of other buildings. No room for people to walk through.
Dude put your farm a little bit away from town? Not to far but not right there man?
"3, 2, 1.... Boom." So anti-climatic.
I may try this game out when it fully releases...but dawn of man>ostriv for now since dawn of man is the only city builder with fighting in it.
your playlist for this is so confusing 😖
Thanks for another series of Ostriv, but could you please try not to use article "the" when you referring to Ukraine?
Dmytro Davidenko Thank You!! It’s been called just Ukraine since 1991.
Also why are the houses so far away from the town so that’s inefficient and your building to much at once you don’t have millions of people and only the men can build so you have even less people to build
Breathe, slowly, in, out.

Perhaps rather than watching a video to comment what’s wrong, why not relax and enjoy? That would be cool.
Raptor, it's pronounced "Grain-ery" please man
HA FIRST
