Is there anyway to utilize Apple CarPlay without using the USB cable? Was hoping there would be since I got the wireless charging pad installed and have the iPhone X. Kind of bummed if it's not possible
Anyone having this issue: When using Maps with Carplay and playing music at the same time, the music volume stays the same whenever Siri talks (which makes Siri hard to hear and understand). Whenever I'm using Maps without Carplay, my music volume level is automatically lowered whenever Siri says directions. Any fixes? Already set siri's voice to the loudest and already set my car's volume for Siri all the way to the max but still doesn't make her audible.

+Ram of the Rose so, I just tried this out with my Android (Android Auto) and the music did reduce so that the navigation would send me the notification
i have a 2016 honda civic EXT and my apple carplay is always glitching, going back and forth on the apple screen and then closing out of it to the regular screen. can you tell me what’s wrong with it? or if would be better to get this bc maybe it’s a wire issue? i use an original apple charger so i don’t know what the problem is.
Thanks for the reply man. I was a bit concerned after reading about some vehicles having USB ports which do not provide sufficient power and as a result the iPhone runs out of juice while using CarPlay.

The original you got with your iPhone works. However, there are other company's that make cables that will work. Just make sure you get a "data syncing" cable
Hi I know this is an older vid but is there anyway to freeze the display so you can be on other apps on your phone. Maps closes when I press the home button so I can’t see it. Or I can’t take picture on like Snapchat of the song playing. Also can’t record on snap with the music?? Anyways around this??

Go to your settings on your phone and make sure CarPlay is enabled. Sometimes after an update itll change. Or maybe it did it by itself on accident. But let me know
My car used to connect perfectly to it and now nothing happens besides the charging .. the wire is from Apple and works perfectly. Is it the car that isn’t working?

Lavay hi! I never figured out what it was , the day I scheduled an appointment to go get it fixed it started working again.. I think it updates and it just takes time to reboot. Mine lasted days.. but I would recommend you go just in case! Sorry!

Is there any notification settings maybe? Like when panooch text you it showed that message, it doesn’t do that for me
Yes, when you add the phone to the bluetooth it should have asked if you would like to get text notifications. If you add me on Instagram, and video call me I can walk you through the process

Correct. It will reconnect when you plug your phone back in

you can cannoect to Bluetooth wirelessly. but you cannot connect to CarPlay wirelessly

Iapple! With iphone chord! It works but it just doesn’t let me use my phone independently of the system

Make sure you are using a "data syncing" cable.

Maybe. It depends. Some cables aren't days syncing cables. Some are. You may go buy a data syncing one just to make sure
