Yeah through that Deluxe I was thinking the same thing. Really sings. Strats need to be played loud to get the best tone out them. And being an original 1956 doesn't hurt either.
I could never afford one of these because I work with the homeless, but it is a huge blessing to be inspired by the guitars, players, and stories that this channel offers.

Also he plays in standard tuning which is different from the original (1/2 step down) which makes a different chords name, which means not the original :)

The Hendrix covers were great, but the last one on the bridge pickup sounded like a full band. ML is single handedly keeping Rock alive and making us old guys who lived through those days proud. Great sounding strat and in beautiful shape, I'm glad I bought a Squire classic vibe 50s strat in two color sunburst, I saved about 50k and get all those tones with my Fender Champion 100 amp.
No way, the tone is majestic! Glassy Chandelier like Treble feeding into the Crunch, Structural Mids with the Vocabulary of Shakespeare and Bass as omnipresent as the good Lord himself!

You can make ya own 50s 60s strat or any guitar!!! Heres the key to gettin that old vintage sound!!! Leave ya guitar in the sun as much as possible when ur not playin it!!! The sun will age it and dry out the wood, which will make the guitar sound a lot better!!!

Right, I am not a strat fan, especially not bridge pickups on strats. But this bridge pickup on this strat sounded amazing! 👍🏻 Superb playing helped of course ☺️🥰

It's cause his versions aren't exact to the originals. He changes them enough to be considered an artists interpretation of the song .

..there’s several small ruts in the area btw the nut and the 7th fret area, other areas look pretty good..
