Here's my experience after visiting Haiti
You can fly by airplane but it's not recommended since you'll spend ALOT more and have to be careful
Also it's better to sleep on the Dominican side before crossing Haiti in the morning.
There were soldiers everywhere, it felt like a war zone. If you're not African, people will beg for money. Majority of the people here live with less then $1 a day. Seeing kids eat mud cookies (made from dirt and water) makes me sad.
It's best to be vigilant when going to countries like these. Do not trust any strangers because you can become one of their victims. I traveled with a buddy. We were fortunate to find Ronaldo (guide).

Yeah man just have to be careful in port au prince but the closer you are to Dominican border you’re okay

Haven’t been there yet but chad 🇹🇩 seems to have more scammers and civil war then Haiti 🇭🇹
If you wanna visit Africa, safest place is the islands - Seychelles 🇸🇨, Mauritius 🇲🇺
Mainland Africa - Namibia 🇳🇦 and South Africans.
Namibia 🇳🇦 is like Nebraska 🇺🇸 nothing usually happens
