Thank you so much for detailed instructions! I just had my first class, doing shoulder roll. The instructor didn’t explain to me at all that my head wad wrong. I’m in pain a little but I hope it goes away.

Your explanations are phenomenal. I’m 28, never been athletic or coordinated and i’m about 1 month into BJJ. Learning to trust the process, trust my body, and using senses other than sight. I fancy myself a slow processor so slow and repetitive demonstrations like these are very helpful to me!

Just wanted to say thank you for your understanding at being able to explain and demonstrate a basic move but to also show how it relates to positioning your self in a defence. I’ve only just started for a few months and with so much to try and take in it’s quite overwhelming to figure where and how you should be positioning yourself in defence. This is exactly what I needed to know with the whole “ball” analogy, it was like a lightbulb moment as you went through the various positions showing how your body should be and keeping yourself in a ball, makes so much sense now with rolling leverage and angles 💡😊

i hit subscribe because i got so much out of this; ive forgotten about elbow knee connection but the "ball" is less confusing and seeing how it relates to the basic movements was great as well. i know getting up on my shoulder and getting my legs in front of me and making that "ball" is key to so much but im struggling with that. its like there is rubberbands on my legs that alwasy wants to snap them back straight.

Hello I did 5 roles forward and got very very dizzy everything was spinning then a min later I feel a little nauseous. When I went to BJJ gym and trained I was fine but today I wanted to do some drills and I couldn't from getting so dizzy. Anyone know why I got so dizzy? And will it go away if I keep doing it?
