Where do I start, public land from the ground on video, that alone is epic but what makes this episode so special is the reactions. No fist pumping yelling or jumping around. Total silence, heavy breathing and reverence to the deer and the moment. You can fake that stuff. Once again felt like I was along for the ride. You guys are seasoned beyond your years. congrats on another THP grand slam.

I've said it many times, but I love this channel and have half of our fire dept hooked on it. These guys are genuine, respectful and don't hunt named and numbered deer over manicured fenced in food plots (everyone knows what I mean). And as one of our guys noted, these guys don't try to be bad-a** by always bragging they "smoked" the deer, which really cheapens everything. Just quality guys doing it right. Stay safe guys and thank you for sharing with up.

Another great video. Would have been nice to see the shot on video but the great thing is that you all use it as a teaching/learning experience. Big congrats to Dylan on his first bow buck. Also, had to laugh at the deer cart issue. I borrowed a friends cart a couple years ago and had the same thing happen. We had to break off a piece of down rusty fence to make a cotter pin. Great show fellas.

Super pumped for you Dylan on your first buck with a bow. I could only imagine how you felt having to wait overnight. I could feel tears of joy well up seeing your reaction to Warb pointing out your buck and seeing him the ground for the first time. That is awesome, I have yet to be able to take any deer with a bow here in West "By God" Virginia or anywhere for that matter. Always great to get that first one on the board. Nice buck, I like the forked tine that gives him even more character, worthy of both the wall and the freezer. Thankfully the landowner was nice and understanding and let the crew pursue your deer. Congrats and I always like on THP vids, everyone stops and helps, even passing on a hunt the next day or morning if needed. The Outdoor Community whether hunting or fishing can almost be like family.

Excellent job guys, this is a very nice buck, especially for a first bow buck. Great job on the patients involved in waiting not knowing where the shot placement was. It was so awesome the land owner didnt mind you guys going in and even better he let you drive in to help with the quickness of recovery. Thanks again, you guys did a great job capturing the excitement of the hunt, plus being patient so you don't jump an injured deer and loose him. The worry of spoiled meat, critters, etc is real! As I watch, if being honest, I would have trailed him for sure, but usually it seems, I am trying to find him, dress him, and hang him up just so I can get to work the next day. Great hunt, liked the fact you contacted the property owner, before going over the fence to get the deer, congrats on the bow kill, can see your excitement in photos.

can we all take a moment to acknowledge that A-Aron has a majestic beard? Legend says that mane gives him the ability to sense wildlife around him; like a spidey sense for an eastern hunter.

You guys do the best job keeping all the real moments through postediting. I can't tell you how many times I've felt what Dylan was going through, only to track the deer a couple hundred yards and find it. Just have to remind yourself to stay possitive. Luminocks help too ;). Good luck guys and keep making real content!

Congrats Dylan . I enjoyed seeing the setup of your bow poundage and arrow weight and broad head choice. Fairly lite poundage, fixed blade broadhead,. If l recall your arrow weight was 425 grains, a pretty heavy set up for the poundage. I was impressed with the penetration you got at the shot placement. Good job Dylan. Ohio Mitch

Right on Dylan! Congratulations buddy! That's awesome. Ya got the first one out of the way. I started bowhunting at twelve and it took me years to get that first buck down, my guess is with the crew your around your learning curve is much steeper than mine was...lol. 🤔 Just a guess, Haha. On to the Challenge now! God I can't wait. Still in the 90's here in the Carolinas...wish I was heading to Michigan!🙂

Awesome hunt guys! Been said hundreds of times, if not thousands, but I love how you show real hunting. The emotions, uncertainty, camaraderie, true hunting ethics, etc. Keep it up!
