Here I am in late October 2024, so excited to find a little cache of videos that I haven't watched before! Best gift on a quiet Saturday ever. Dear Cammy, how your life has changed in the past four years! It's been a beautiful thing to watch as you share your family and farming experiences with us. I was just watching Lizzy on her channel with your lovely children, as you were resting after your op, breakfast in bed and all. All of your surrogate family out here are so proud of you.❤❤❤❤❤
beautiful lambs, produced cheaply on grass, you do it right! I am from Germany and i am a buyer for a slaughterhouse for lambs and sheep. In Germany the price for premium lambs is the same and we have the same deductions. Sorry for my bad English.
Love the music, it was a perfect choice. Auctioner music I have not heard that song in years. You folks work so hard, I hope you have time off to enjoy some activities out side of sheeping ☺
My mother came from Ayrshire but she was no where near as broad as you😁. Enjoyed this video as sales are not something I know much about. Kept a few pet sheep at one time, they worked as the village lawnmowers. I sent one off to live with a friends small flock when she was 10 as her sheep friend had died and she surprised everyone by having her first lamb when she was 13!
What a gorgeous sunrise over that frosty pasture. Thank you for sharing. Good luck w/ your market prices.🐑🏴🐑🇺🇸😷👍 Is a cast ewe the same thing as a cull ewe ? Interesting to see your sale statement.
Not bad for grass, no creep feeding, hoggs were a good trade back then. Nice to see those cowboy dealers at lanark, big lawson etc etc giving a good prices for a change.
I really appreciate the way you put the information on the screen during your videos. I am learning about the sheep game.

Worth getting up for with sunrises like that. Yes a cast ewe is the same as a cull ewe.
That's good money but there's some money being stopped in charges , ya could say the mart took 3 lambs for doing five minutes work.
They look well , well don cammy 👍

Would have made about £20 more a head 6 weeks later.... grass would have ran out 5 weeks before that though😂

Great video😃
Ok- who is old enough to remember when the auctioneer song debuted in America?
Good video Cammy. Call round my work and I’ll give you a woolly bunnet 😁
Yes
Interesting
Hi from India
How much commission have to pay for each lamb to sell in market?
Love the song so funny
When do you separate lambs from ewes?
I’ll usually be about 12 weeks. Once silage off and good bit of grass growth i’ll spean lambs onto that!
Why do you belly clip them in the market? I've never seen that done at my local market
Where u from? All Scottish markets do it in winter. Belly and crutch has to be clean for where they run the knife after slaughter
@@TheSheepGame oh right I'm from Somerset, makes sense tho
We understand very little of what you are saying. What do you expect from Arkansas?
😂 i’m hopefully speaking clearer in my newer videos!
Just over £200 pounds in selling costs....not bad eh ?
🐑🥰
Why not shear them and sell a fortnight off shears, also let them empty out before trucking them
Had planned to shear all my store lambs this year but still not got round to it and time ticking... weather not great!
Auction is it kirby
Hi Rachel it’s Lanark.

Lie doon, lie doon lol
Are you on Instagram?
No mate but i’ll maybe start one for the page!! Good way to do updates without doing a full Vlog!
