I felt like Job a few years ago. I was afflicted with 2 terrible illnesses at the same time, and I was disfigured not once but twice in less than a year. I didn't have boils, but pretty close. I, However was not righteous like Job. At the time, I wasn't even saved, and I was living in sin. I felt like I was being punished by God. Years later, after being saved, I understood that it wasn't the Lord punishing me, it was the opposite. He knew it would take something huge to get me to change my ways. I was saved that year, and even though I still experience spiritual attacks, my life is much better than it was.
This is a rich teaching.
