At this point...the question that begs to be asked is...
Why is there no political formula that when a Prime Minister
is so hated, (70% of Canadians) that, he should be either removed
or, it triggers an automatic election. That would be call democracy by the people.
The Governor General could do this with the power of the King. You have to ask why they haven't.
Only a decent Democratic Party would introduce and legislators pass Recall Legislation, hopefully it will come. It needs to be demanded!
We need an impeachment law put in place, like the U.S. Andrew Scheer when he was running said he would implement 1 but he lost.
this is no longer a democracy it has been a Dictatorship for 8+ years now, we need reform so that one man-child dictator cannot do the things Justanahole has done, we need to have a mechanism installed so that the people can recall and force an election when it becomes obvious that the PM is breaking the law or at least violating the ethics he swore to uphold & follow, he has had so many ethics violations we have lost count, but he has also imho crossed the line into criminality with his cabinets & his interference of the Attorney General Jody Wilson-Raybould in the SNC lavalin scandal, that should have brought an obstruction of justice charge to him & and every MP who called her i think around 12 or so, and am sure if we were allowed to investigate him thoroughly we would find that he broke the law many other times & covered it up.

My DIL is a financial advisor. The Capital gains tax hits anyone who wants to sell a house that's over 1 mil. Anyone with a cabin. Anyone who has a rental property income. Basically, anyone who tries to save for a decent retirement.

The capital gains tax increase is not included in the budget, because the NDP would not support the budget if it remained in. Many of their largest financial supporters are doctors and other medical professionals. If Trudeau wanted his budget to pass, he had to have the NDP support. The NDP do not care that without the capital tax gains increase, the budget deficit increases to at least $70 Billion from $50 Billion. And while the deficit increase is obvious, no one is even mentioning that in light of the fact that the tax increase was not tabled with the budget. The tax increase was tabled as a separate item. That way, the NDP can vote against it and let the Bloc vote with the Liberals, or just let it die.

Legislation on abortion has been in place for years. Why is Trudy counting on Canadians being so ignorant of this fact? Abortion is a moot point in Canada. Don't drink the kool-aid, folks.
What legislation, there are no federal laws pertaining to abortion in Canada. You do realize that "moot" also means open to question and subject to discussion... right?!
The NB clinic... both Trudeau & Singh said it had to stay open. Even went as far as trying to take away transfer payments, endangering the lives of New Brunswickers.
In NB, according to Stats Can, approximately 600 women needed an abortion in the province in one year. The Feds wanted a private clinic kept open for 200 of these procedures!
Heart patients only get services at two hospitals in this province & there is three times as many people needing these services.
HEALTH CARE IS PROVINCIAL JURISDICTION.

Isn't it odd that we hear this from the Canadian Liberals and by the US Democrats? Just my thought, I think they are afraid of what they have done during their terms in office. I cannot think of anything the Canadian liberals or the US Democrats have done that has anything positive about them.
Brian and Hal - not even half measures...impactical policies at best, counter productive at worst. The party itself is making fear driven decisions without engaging the people they should be. Policies seem theoretical among a small group, missing engagement with the front line impacted people. I doubt they even bother doing any benefit impact analysis. It's very unprofessional, esp considering they are supposed to be servants to the people.

I.e. letting high risk offenders out on bail after they violated bail. The current conservative leader has stated that he will not touch abortion. I will not state my stance because it’s irrelevant.
