We have over 30,000 miles on the set of the JK. We like them so well that we put the exact same tire on the Gladiator! They do have some noise but seem to be quieter than most MT's
I’ve been very happy with the road noise level. The set I bought went on my XJ and they’re very quiet *for a mud tire. They aren’t as quiet as KO2s, but they’re much quieter than the Pro Comp Xtreme MT2s that are on my JK. They are surprisingly well behaved on wet roads too.
Yes sir, Have been running 37x13.5-17 STT's on my J/K (2.5" lift) for a few seasons now on beadlocks. If you want to really see how great they are air down to 6 and you will be driving a climbing machine. Thanks for the review.
@@tylerdubois9020 ya Im on beads and 6psi works for me wheeling. STTs have pretty solid sidewalls and function well without mashing up under stress. If you dont have beads stay in the teens to low 20s.
I just ordered a set for my power wagon, I tried to get a set of Toyo MTs, but I gave up and this was the only other mud tire available right now. Hopefully they'll hold up
I run Cooper across the board, I run the Discover winter tire, the AT3 XLT, ATP, and the STT pro on my Bronco. Now that Cooper is owned by Goodyear. I just hope they doesn't screw them up.
I am running my second set of STT Pros on my ZJ (started out on 31s, now on 33s). They are a great tire, American made and will be on my JK when I upgrade to 35s.

Have them on my SAS’d ‘97 Explorer. My first go on mud tires. Living and wheeling mostly in CO/UT, I haven’t got them in much mud. They work great in dirt/rocks/snow but I’m considering going back to all terrains when it’s time for replacement.
I looked at the STT Pros and just about bought them. Ultimately ended up going with the Kumho MT71 instead. My first mud terrain tire and I’ve been really happy with so far. May have to get a set of the Coopers though once these west out and give them a shot as well.

This is a good one. We now have JL in our driveway (for the wife) with our other Jeeps (Cherokees) and I been debating getting these tires when we put the lift on ... as opposed to our usual BFG M/T's. Just to give them a go out of curiousity. Kind of afraid to go away from what works, and get stranded by lack of quality, type thing. Think I'll give them a go. I'll keep the BFG's on mine though.
Running 35x12.50 15 on a 77' f-150 for years. Get around 30k out of them. New tires every year. Drive on decomposed granite 30 miles every day blacktop the rest of the time as normal driving. Weekends dirt roads all the way! 10,000' in Colorado

Cause if these new times don't fit my liking for pavement and heavy use, I'm switching back to cooper's, but since Goodyear is China made, I'll be super skeptical buying cooper's.
I've had them on my Tacoma for 30k. Great overall but noisy if you don't rotate every 5k. They suck in snow pack but decent in unpacked snow, otherwise killer in mud and rock. Oh your gas milage will take a big hit.
I love my Coopers but they are by far the loudest MT I have ever owned and I’ve owned most. I would not recommend these for mainly a DD but they do truly excel off-road. I run 315/70/r17s.
Great review and I believe these will be my next set of tires. Couple of questions what brand of fender flares and front bumper are you running? They look really good.
I have the general grabber x3. About 36k miles on them. They will make 50k miles, but they noticeably less performing now. Would buy again. I have seen the x3 take some horrible hits to the sidewall with sharp, pointy rocks and it also took a stick into the sidewall that did not break the bead! 36k miles never had a tire repair. Good wear. Loud, but not obnoxiously loud. The x3 did good in deep snow. Horrible on ice. I would be curious what the lifespan is like of the coopers.
I considered the Generals when I was shopping for tires. I have heard of other users of the Coopers that got considerable mileage out of them. I hope I do!

I have the same tires on my Jeep Wrangler too....CAUTION they do get very LOUD as they wear down near the half way point....so much that I am going to replace them early. Other than that excellent tire - just to loud

Disappointing review. You tried them on dry blacktop, wet blacktop, gravel, sand, rocks, wet rocks, mud, mud on slopes, 8” of snow, but unbelievably you didn’t trial them on moon surface. I mean seriously, what’s the point of a tyre review if it doesn’t cover all surfaces? 😂👍

Not sure I would go down to 6 PSI without bead-lockers. Even with that it is low.
Depending on what terrain you really don't need that low PSI.

I have STT PROs on my Jeep. I rotate them regularly and with 25k miles they are at 50% and are no louder than the first day.

Between our 2 jeeps, this is our 6th set. We have noticed they do get louder, but we have not had them to get extremely loud.

I'm not sure the 13.50 will fit under a 2 in lift. If they do you would have to use a negative 38 offset wheel.
But what size are they? Can you list the size along with that wheel and backspacing?
37x13.50r17 wheels are 17×9 with 4.5 backspacing.

We had some rubbing and added 1 1/2 inch spacers. 3.5 back spacing on the wheels would work better instead of the spacers.

Freaking love the coopers. But on my 2 door a rated e is a little stiff. It has been better since I added a winch though and heavy steel bumpers.
The e load rating is pretty stiff. But it also gives me some extra comfort when it comes to side wall punctures or gashes
