Serpil Oppermann is professor of Environmental Humanities at Cappadocia University, Turkey, and served as the President of the European Association for the Study of Literature, Culture and Environment (EASLCE) between 2016-2018. Her most recent publications include New International Voices in Ecocriticism (2015), Material Ecocriticism (2014) and Environmental Humanities: Voices from the Anthropocene (2017) with Serenella Iovino, and International Perspectives in Feminist Ecocriticism (2013) with Greta Gaard and Simon C. Estok.
