Amazing testimony what a mighty god we serve
I met the Isaacs in Keosauqua Iowa in 2007. They are a talented music family and you can feel the Holy Spirit in their song’s. I had a chance to part of the pre music opening playing a piano solo and singing duet. I was asked to join them with some friends of ours to go out to eat after the service and was so excited. But my daughter had just been out of the hospital for 2 days from gall bladder surgery and even though she wanted to go to the concert she wasn’t feeling strong enough to get through it all so we had to take her home. But the next year they had another service at the Keosauqua Methodist church and I wasn’t feeling well so I dropped her off so she could enjoy their music 🎶. They gave her a CD and she listens to it all the time.
I worked at Dollywood for over 17 yrs. In October different gospel groups would come to preform. Of course the Isaacs performed wonderful. But what impressed me the most is how they behaved “ behind” the curtains. They Truly walk the talk !
I work for Dollywood as well. They are truly amazing people. They’re real and very kind
I just love Momma Isaac, I like to listen to what she says about her family and the love she shows in her understanding of her parents hurt when she became a Christian.
After listening to these nice folks testify about their faith, I have an even greater love for these Christian Patriots.

I am taking you to meet my Mom, in heaven. She had perfect pitch, sang with Sweet Adelines, when I was growing up. Your harmony and wonderful pitch is just amazing. The first time I heard you, in the early nineties, “ I wept”.

That was chosen by my music major professor as the signature song for Northwest Nazarene College (now University) Crusader Choir until he retired. Since it took me 8 years to finish my BA in vocal performance, the song is imbedded in my memory and heart. The LORD has used it to comfort and anchor me while going through a divorce as well as having issues with a deteriorating spine. Praise His Name.

As a grandchild of immigrants who arrived in America via Ellis Island, I understand respect for this nation. So, I am glad Andrew asked and addressed this patriotic issue. This is a tough subject because it is so attached to politics. But we must remember, each person stems from various backgrounds. Sadly, this is a real aspect of our nation’s citizens: many have seen images of their grandfather hanging from a tree with a noose around his neck surrounded by folks who declared how Christ-like they are. And for that person and many others, this tragedy has happened in the very nation your uncle went to war for; and worse, you know your grandfather’s death was simply based on his skin color.
So, I would suspect, if Christ is in you, you would understand how there is a tentative and apprehensive loyalty towards this nation, for some, especially since many define this country as a Christ-like nation. We should understand how we can rejoice with those who esteem this land, but we must certainly understand the pain many have experienced in a nation that HAS helped others while forsaking, through violence, a portion of their own population.
0:06 No offense meant Andrew & not to take anything away from the rest of the Isaacs, but Joe Isaacs, was the man first responsible for forming the group by another name back in 1970. My thanks & respect to Lily who gives a summary of how the Isaacs first came to be, but Joe deserves a bit more attention than what he got here. Joe's professional music career spans back into the late 1960's mingling with the likes of Larry Sparks, Ralph Stanley & many others. Joe Isaacs & The Sacred Bluegrass would be one of the first known names to appear on LP's with both Joe & Lily in the forefront of the group. Lily's high baritone & tenor vocals were essential to the group & consequentially sealed it's reputation for rock solid harmony in addition to Joe's well rounded musicianship & versatility. Let's not forget their gift for writing great original material as well. Many of these songs would be written by Joe, whom with the guidance from God's spirit, would take up pen & paper to draw from the experiences of his childhood & early adult life. All of this would continue into the mid 80's with several band changes along the way.
To the delight of both Joe & Lily, their 3 children also shared their love for music & soon began to make their way onto the stage & would sing their way into the spotlight & into the ppls hearts as well. As they grew older, each took an interest in different instruments & the need for backup musicians ceased to be. It wasn't long before the kids also began to write songs & added to Joe & Lily's growing repertoire of original material. The group hit pay dirt when in 1993 one of those songs would land #1 on the national charts & put them forevermore on the radar of gospel music fans. It was in the late 90's that their first nomination for the coveted Dove award would come when Joe put his foot down to defy the record label producers by insisting the family record one of his previously recorded originals entitled "Man On A Mule". The song would go on to be a favorite & one of their most requested song for many years.
How do I know these things? The explanation is simple. Joe was fresh from his divorce with Lily & eager to play music again. He would team up with fellow songwriter, musician & long time friend David Marshall. I would be invited to join the band & start out playing bass for them in March of 2001. April would see the addition of Fred Spencer Jr. on Bass after I was transferred to banjo subsequently dubbed with the nickname of "Hacksaw" from David Marshall. David & Joe would both train me on banjo & vocals broadening my musical knowledge with new banjo licks & new vocal techniques. Joe & David would later split & I would continue working with Joe off & on for about two yrs & end up on 4 cuts of the 2001 album entitled "From A Cabin To A Mansion". Joe was always quick to teach in a straight forward manner & would always apologize to me later, thinking he had hurt my feelings in some way. He never did hurt my feelings & I was always glad to learn from him. Amongst many other things, he taught me that listening was infinitely more important than being heard. There were also Godly life lessons that I would remember from Joe's example during the next 17 yrs of my life. I recently spent two & a half days with him almost a week ago & I plan to go back again soon, depending on how he's feeling. I feel so blessed for the opportunity!! Being around Joe is like having spiritual jumper cables hooked to you. He's a good man of God that knows the bible cover to cover. He loves to talk about God & is eager to help anyone learn about God. He has so much love for the ppl around him that it's very contagious & if you are a part of Joe's inner circle of family & friends, you are a very blessed individual. Joe doesn't take friendship lightly & is not a fair weather friend as so many are these days. All of Joe's friends & family mean the world to him. I've seen him stop in the middle of what he was doing, to kneel down right where he was, & pray for a friend or family member in need.
Wow, as such a spiritual, loving & dedicated man that loves the Lord, I always wonder why such Christian people succumb to divorce. It is quite sad that Christians can't keep their marriages together.
@@axellee1463 If you knew the circumstances behind it, you would know just how sad it really is. I know Joe personally. I've stayed for days at a time with him, travelled with him & I played on the album "From A Cabin To A Mansion". He & I have talked a lot about the events that lead to his divorce. All I'll say about it is that wrong was done on both sides. The enemy can paint a picture pretty enough to deceive anyone. We're all human & therefore we are weak enough to succumb to things of the flesh. Constant communication with God is the key. If praying three times a day was good enough for Daniel, we too ought to strive to do the same & more.
I know Joe and yes he deserves a lot, I ran with Joe and took him to Dayton ohio and showed him where to buy his first Banjo, which was a Vega . Joe took that Banjo and went around to different people and In less than a week he was a pro on that Banjo. we played in Corwin Ohio on the streets, we hung together me, joe and a few others would go to Dayton Ohio and play, I could go on and on and also remember when he went to NY where he met Lilly. he wanted me to go to NY with him but I kinda let him down and didn't go and when he came back he told me of who he had met (Lilly) and was going back to NY and when he came back second time she came with him. I am a 2nd cousin to the Issacs and could tell you a lot they don't have on here. Yes Joe was a star and his family were one of the greatest and still are and if any one wants to know look me up on Facebook under Forester Wendell Ferguson.

They have seen a lot of crazy things done in YOUR NAME. For example, the father of lies futile attempts to make crooked the right ways of the LORD to turn people away from faith in the WORKS OF JESUS CHRIST ALONE. How can anyone bear the thought of his or her life story detracting from the GLORY AND HONOR KNOWN TO BELONG TO CHRIST ALONE? As a consequence, YOU ARE A MYSTERY OF GREAT MYSTERY to them. Despite this conviction, YOU ARE MINDFUL of them as evidenced by the fact that YOUR JUDGEMENT is not speedy, allowing them to pursue the desires of the flesh.
They are aware of hypocrisy in religious assemblies that like to be seen and heard. In addition, secular education teaches that there is no right and wrong, if GOD exists there is no way of relating to HIM, and moral standards shift according to the whims of fashion. Therefore, their minds are conditioned to question everything this world has to offer including “THY POWER THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE DISPLAYED.” They have accepted the heavy burden of dealing with the troubles of this life and seeks to know another way, YOU THE GREAT COMFORTER TO ALL who did receive YOU as their personal SAVIOR. Still, YOU have shown them NEW MERCY every day with each thought they make and each breath they take.
Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movie, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them defeat in their minds what is false in YOUR EYES.
LORD GUIDE their thoughts to know that the path of sin is hard on their hearts for the purpose of crying out to YOU to know the joy, peace of having the heavy burden LIFTED by THE GOD OF PEACE I AM, and ANCHOR their souls in THE HAVEN OF REST. In other words, LORD use the storms in their lives to get a hold of them to trust YOU and believe. In truth, YOU ARE THE JOY that seekest them through pain.
LORD HELP their fainting hearts to believe that YOU, who was slain on the cross over 2000 years ago has the POWER TO CHANGE lives today through the INSTANTANEOUS GREAT FAVOR from GOD to the house of Israel made known in believers by YOU to make YOUR NAME EVERLASTING. 🥰 For as the statue liberates the citizens so the cross liberates the soul. ONLY YOU can calm the trouble waters of the mind when one admits to wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, JESUS IS LORD, and believes in the heart that GOD RAISED HIM from the dead TO LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt away from the heart in accordance to YOUR WORD found in Psalm 51:1-10 KJV. 👏👏👏👏👏👏 O, the wonder of it all to experience within the flesh the feeling of a tree being cut back/pruned inorder for it to grow stronger and more beautiful after meditating on the words of said Psalm. 🥰🙌
LORD MAKE them know that ONLY YOUR HOLY SPIRIT, through the experience of a new birth within believers, can prevent the family circle from being broken because THE HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE YOU HAVE GRANTED means a chapter of their lives is decided. Creation sings the rebirth song for them yearly, through YOUR PROMISE of springtime, giving rise to the idea that by the mention of YOUR NAME flowers grow, and the desert blooms again. 🥰
LORD GUIDE their understanding of words to use to come into YOUR PRESENCE with an honest reverence of WHO YOU ARE to experience the beauty that time can't erase YOUR WISDOM resting on their faces. LORD STRENGTHEN their determination to never waiver in efforts to search for YOU because the wages of sin is too high for anyone to pay. Additionally, THE KING OF KINGS is needed in their hearts to learn how to expand their capacity to love for YOU are LOVE in any language. 🥰 Once they learn to speak it with boldness through YOUR WONDERFUL COUNSELING all the world will hear, and know that LOVE is the language of their hearts. So LORD, KEEP KNOCKING on their doors until they let YOU in to know hardships and struggles will end with a GREAT CELEBRATION WITH YOU. 🥰🙌
If one believes faith cannot be forced, YOU WILL GIVE that individual over to the stubborn heart to follow own counsel which will surely fail him or her to the extent that the punishment will last forever found in Psalms 81 NIV. Given this, I pray that YOU WILL MAKE that person see that this feeling is wasted for a world in which we become strangers as we age, gives us thrills instead of peace, aims to solve a problem but creates another, and unrest surges with each passing generation. Shed some light into their broken hearts for YOU ARE THE GREAT JEHOVAH, THE GOD THAT HEALETH thee.
Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again, I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh.
O LOVE that will not let them go. When they don't have the strength to try, and have cried all they can cry hear their hearts that need YOU more today than yesterday. Many thanks LORD for speaking TRUTH in our lives TO BLESS those who are not offended by THEE. LET YOUR WILL BE DONE because YOUR LOVE ALONE CONQUERS everything by WAITING for them to cease struggling, and finally surrender to YOUR EMBRACE to learn about YOUR LOVE AND PROMISE TO TAKE CARE of your children exquisitely. 🥰 Since... "at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore"... (Psalms @ KJV), and the nail print for them to know YOU by answering the following question. I'm a piano tuner and I understand the accepted frequency of A=440. Are you saying, when you do a concert, you have the piano tuner change the tuning of the stage piano to A=432 ?

I play a few instruments for our Church praise team one being a cello, I play by ear and cannot read music, I am 65 years old , and know nothing about music theory . I can't see how to use my tuner on the cello to adjust to 432hz , on my tuner the cello "a" string is down in the 200's , I don't understand how this works do you have a suggestion.
I think there's something to that 432 Hz.

Love your hearts and music! I agree Christians should be kind and non judgmental but still believe we should make a stand against cruelty. Children ripped from their parents arms and forced to live like animals was because of Trump. Can you imagine their fear, parents not knowing the safety of their children. We need to speak out!
