- Ultion Lock Picking? Why criminals DON'T pick locks......
Arguably any lock can be picked. Indeed it is a sport, but a sport practiced by intelligent, trained, experienced locksmiths, with a selection of specialist tool and who have generally picked 1000's of locks. They have the knack, and the knack of making it look significantly easier than it really is.
Burglars, however, generally do not fall into a 'intelligent, trained, experienced' category. Which is why they don't pick locks, they snap them. This video shows how and why and shows an Ultion lock being picked.

Thank you! With lock picking videos becoming more popular it seems people (in comments) are worried they're not pick resistant enough (most are). Criminals don't pick locks, in general. Even if your lock was picked, do you think if they were unable to pick it they would not then turn to destructive methods or alternative openings?
Being bump and rake resistant is enough to deter the small number of criminals that might actually try manipulation
O
Absolutely true
The lock needs security pins for anti pick. Because raking and bumping are most likely to be adopted. Better then standard pins. But I agree with you.
They do have anti bump protection and enough security pins to make raking unlikely
Cheers mate feel safe now after watching this 🙄
This video is very good at showing you why anti snap locks are essential.
We have these locks and they are great but having watched the lock picking lawyers review of this lock it is easily picked.. as I say great lock! But maybe don’t exaggerate the lock picking.
But they're more expensive than competitor products which are just as snap resistant but also better at pick resistance e.g. ERA fortress.
Most people have old pvc windows which the beads can be removed externally and glass taken out.
Even lock picking lawyer understands that once the lock is good enough at pick resistance, it doesn't matter anymore. The problem would be the rack attacks and way too easy locks to be picked
Who was the picker? I've been watching lock picking lawyer and never seen him take so long.
LockPickingLawyer is the LeBron James of picking locks
Lock Noob
@@TyeTaylor and I'm the lebron James of being lebron james
LPL spends hours learning the binding order of most of the locks before he films. Lock Noob is a great picker, and these aren't easy locks. Learn to pick and find out yourself.
Hi there, can you please make a video on how to pick Euro Cylinder locks using a Lishi Tool? I dont know which tool to purchase for Euro Cylinder locks.
Thank you very much :)!
Does this leave marks? Our security door was Gardesa, 11 years old, flat key with holes, locks twice. It got picked so well that the police thought a card was used but we know we locked it. What happened with it? How did they do it?
How about why people only watch your videos to break into houses
@0:14 the mole-grips magically adjusted themselves 🧐
Ha Haaaaa I recognise those hands and picking style.... its Lock Noob!!
audio quality of this video is terrible, so much echo, I can't make out almost half the words...
What are you speaking into , it needs fixed sound is bad
Picking needs brain cells which burglars if they had any would've got a highly skilled job let alone no normal job
Why you should bother yourself learning and understanding how the lock is build to learn how to pick it, if in reality you just have to be able to understand which locks you can snap and that’s the most of properties that gives you such an advantage and quick option.
@@svaigagalja Agreed
Good job they don’t lol
Lock picking noob is making a meal of this, I've picked these locks and I'm an inexperienced picker but can pick it in less than 30 seconds.
Cool story bro 🤣
I think the experienced lock picker seen on this video hasn't enough experience (he does weird things IMO, as using 2 tension tools at the same time), but he seems to have also a big lack of self-confidence... or Parkinson maybe (I mean, look at those trembling hands, please, and then tell me that anybody really think that he's a fast dimple locks picker... no way).
