Like Ben (and I suspect many others) I was conflicted. Wanted a win but would have tolerated a defeat (just about) if it hastened Appleton's long overdue exit. There's a lot that's great about the club but the men's first team's prospects will be hampered as long as Scott continues to hold an inordinate amount of power. He said he'd speak at another Bromley Addicks meeting after the window. That will be interesting...if he's still keen that is.
There were rumours Brady was considered by Charlton in the summer, unfortunately as a cobblers fan, I imagine it’s only a matter of time until Brady is off, we’re doing very well on a shoe string budget but if we finish top half of the table there needs to be more backing to consolidate our league one status

Wow, no holding back about Appleton there. He disrespected the Cobblers when we won League 2 under Wilder a few years back. He was in charge of Oxford then and spouting on that Oxford was way better than us etc etc.
Hopefully, the mighty Addicks will rise again.

I’m a Luton fan and I’m a bit pissed off with the way he left us twice but he was really good for us in the lower leagues and he deserves another shot and his last departure meant we got Rob Edwards, watfords loss and he took us to another level, btw I had a bet on Northampton so thanks for the extra cash and thanks for Tom Lockyer.

I'm sorry Charlton is going through this tough patch. I support Newcastle and Northampton. Right now it's Northampton that's delivering the most entertainment.

Start of the season, fans went in optimistic. First game, 19k through the doors, Tuesday, it would’ve been lucky to get 9k actually there tbh. I’m not blaming him overall but this season, it’s killed us
