Bogart sounds like a nice, sensitive, man. As an alcoholic myself, I believe there was A LOT hidden under his psyche - he drank to deal, cope, cover-up something. Trauma, insecurity, fear. God bless him. My 20 years sober means EVERYTHING. I wish Bogart could have found peace in life. 🥰
I read her book. Sinatra, friends with both stuck around to give support to Bacall and she fell for him. But Sinatra toyed with her emotions and hit the bricks in search of Ava Gardner but she had her sights on Spain and left the country to live in Spain. Lauren Bacall was visibly upset by Sinatra’s abandonment.
I loved them both they were fantastic together I love all their movies they made together,I could see how much they loved each other the way they look at each other in the movies they made ,it was so sad when her husband passed away so young,I can’t believe how much their son Stephen looks like he’s father,god love them both may they both rip,amen,🙏🙏🙏♥️💕❤️

I was born in 1948, a year before their oldest son and grew up watching many of their great films. My late mother in law who was Jewish was two years ahead of Lauren at the same high school in Manhattan when she was Betty Persky! When I was single living in Manhattan on the upper East side and worked as a fashion illustrator there was a single's bar called "Bogie's"! It was a small place but had saw dust on the floor, and huge black and white posters of Bogie on the walls. No longer in existance either! May they both rest in peace~
Another lady I find extremely handsome is Annette Benning. And yes, handsome is appropriate. When a woman is handsome. It means she’s more than just a pretty face. Warren Beatty was a notorious ladies man. But, he had to realize he was drinking from the top shelf when he got miss Benning.
