God, I was 8 when I first heard ECHO! It inspired my boundless love for vocaloid, Japanese music, culture and history (I'm from Russia btw)! Now I'm already going to university for Japanese Studies, learning several languages, singing (and am in the process of creating an experimental voice model based on my vocals). And I goddamn love vocaloid! And when ECHO comes on in my colossally grown over these 10 years playlist, I listen and sing it as if it was released 6 months ago (I first heard it with that exact date)..... My goodness, how quickly those 10 years have flown by! Crusher, thank you for the inspiration given to millions of people and for the great legacy you left! Love you and your works. I happened across this by pure coincidence. I have fond memories of the original. While I do like this version I feel like it didn't manage to capture near the same intensity as the original did, particularly without the overlapping vocals (the ones that are there are really far back in the mix). But there's a lot to love here too. Keep it up.
I like how not only the voice tuning and audio quality has improved to be more crisp, but the art has also improved! The pose is more expressive and has a stronger silhouette compared to the original. Really shows the overall improvement of the creator. Happy 10th anniversary to this incredible song!
It's insane how similar and yet how different this version sounds compared to the original. You can clearly hear the improvement, and yet you can tell that it's the same song but with a different arrangement and a few changed instruments/vocals

Echo was my first ever vocaloid song i remember listening to ! I cant believe ive been listening to vocaloid for around 10 years now !?! It feels like just yesterday i was blasting this for the first time. I truly owe my love of vocaloid thanks to you :)
Quick reminder, the reason why this song's so impactful is because it's like mesmeriser, but you have completely no control over it, and it's something inherently tied to you, there is no control here, and it sounds like Gumi is desperately trying to escape over and over, she can't, she knows it, yet just wants everything to stop. Which I feel is why at least I personally resonate with it, and others may feel that way too. To me the way I'd descibe it to those who don't really get what I'm saying is like a deadline you have to meet despite not being able to, for something you started to do as a passion which has now just become more work

当時小学生のときにECHOを聞いてかっけー！と思って，それまでの好きな曲はなんとなく好きと思いながら聞き流していたけど，ECHOはこの歌詞がどんな意味なのか理解したくてMVは早すぎるから一時停止を繰り返して歌詞を全部ノートに書きだして，そこから辞書片手にぶつぶつ発音しながら歌詞読んでた。学校で習う曲以外の自分の趣味の曲で初めに歌詞を覚えたのは間違いなくECHOだった。そこから英語とか海外文化に興味を持ったし，間違いなくその後の趣向に大きな影響があった。自信を持って好きといえるほど好きになれた初めての曲です，ECHOありがとう！10周年おめでとうございます！
