Thanks for the great videos! Coming from a metroplex area in another state, we'd love to hear info on prices and reliability of services like internet, streaming, and cell in Casper.
What do you do for air travel? My family and I have been thinking about moving there from Northern California(trying to escape our high cost of living and insane California politics). Our families will still be in California and we would like to visit them throughout the year.
Lived there last year and I miss it. Groceries, fuel, and utilities were not as bad as I'm paying her in AR. The only time I thought that I was taken advantage of was when I registered my 20+ year old vehicles. (Registration fees)
Retiring this dec. Thinking about buying a piece of land in wyoming to park my camper and stay in spring summer and early fall then stay my home in Indiana for the fall and winter
It really depends. Most state’s minimum grade is 87. However, in Wyoming, the minimum grade is 85. My car can’t take anything less than 87, so I have to buy mid grade, but in South Dakota, Colorado, Missouri, etc…I can buy the base grade, the cheapest gas. Wyoming is not as cheap as you’d think. It is very remote and it costs a lot for things to be shipped out here to be sold. I have found basic groceries and things to be a lot more expensive than neighboring states. I’d try Idaho or S. Dakota before Wyoming.
@@mikebocchinfuso9437 Hey Mike, one of the benefits that I use is Wyoming Veterans Property Tax Exemption. Wyoming offers a property exemption of $3,000 on the assessed value of a Veterans primary residence. If the exemption is not used on real property, it may be applied to a vehicle’s licensing fee.
Alisha, I’ve been in Casper for 50 years and I really appreciate the nice things you say about Casper but most Wyomingites really don’t want a lot of outsider’s infiltrating our state because just like the border, you get the good along with the bad. We like our state just the way it is and most don’t see an influx of people as being advantageous. We do welcome people like yourself but we don’t need or want someone with their own personal agenda, which is totally different than ours, motivating other people to move here. We love Casper the way that it is and we don’t want to become a big city with big city problems. A true Wyomingite would appreciate our state for what is and not someone who seems to want to exploit our city.
I'm a young 26 year old looking to move out of California in a few years. California is just not affordable for young people getting started in their career. Wyoming or Montana sound like great places to me!
I’d say it’s not very affordable at all. I’ve lived all over the United States and comparatively, Wyoming is quite expensive. At least compared to other middle range states, like in the Midwest. Obviously New York/California/Illinois will be worse, but compared to the Midwest, a lot more expensive. I hope to go back to Missouri, asap.
You're the very best realtor ever. Extremely helpful.
Wow, thanks!
Compared to Southern Califonriia, Casper is a raving bargain !
Thank you for this information 🙂
You are so welcome.
Conquistador apartments are particularly affordable.
twu!
I’ve been really interested in moving to Wyoming

I saw a fella with corgi legs walking with confidence on the icy sidewalks in Casper. He seemed like a magician of sorts.
lol
Its a percentage of the cars value isnt it? if so what is the percentage?

Thank you for sharing your positive memories of living there. It's always nice to look back on good times.
Can you do a video on Red Butte? The best neighborhood in Casper
I would love to do a neighborhood video soon!

I love to visit Wyoming! Just move it further south and I would move there. It is too cold.
Thats how we keep the riff raff out! lol
You are 100% correct. It takes a special kind of person to live there.
Is that ice on the sidewalk?
yes-ish, that's where the snow hasn't melted because it never sees the sun.
What about undeveloped land?
What is the cost of gas in Casper.
Almost 6 bucks a gallon here in beautiful comifornia 😒😒
About $3 right now. We left San Jose 2 years ago and Alisha helped us get a nice house in town. Totally worth the move.

@@juni_pearl_9591 the voice reason. Nothing is what I would call "cheap" in Wyoming. I can tell you know the state.
How do they treat veterans? Do they get any breaks on their house?

It should be affordable. Do to, LOCATION, repeat, repeat.
I love it here!

You should visit my town of Visalia, California, and check out our real estate. This is the arbitrage city of America.
Are there also Muslim living in Casper? How about Muslim tourist? Planning to travel there but i'm not sure if they're muslim friendly 🙂
Is that still snow? I get cold at 68 degrees and sweat at 80. I'm looking to relocate but I can only afford 250,000 plus moving expenses
I think you will freeze here! lol You could always keep your home at whatever temp you want!
im looking at houses in Casper and everything i see that is decent seems to be around $370,000?
