THANK YOU this is literally the best tutorial i've seen so far, and I've been really struggling to get the tuck dialed. Can't wait to get out and get on it. Thank you mate, seriously.
Bro I just came back to this video. four years after I watched it the first time and I just did my first tuck no hander. Thank you so much you’re such a big inspiration.
I haven't been able to ride in years due to back surgeries, but I really enjoy watching your videos. I used to race and ride bmx, also mountain bike, too. So I've always loved riding and watching your videos is the next best thing for me!!! It's easy to see how stoked you are about riding and making videos. That's what makes your videos great!!! Thank you for the great content, it really makes me wanna ride again. Hopefully soon
Your really good at explaining and teaching Matt. I suggest you continu down this path whether it's here on youtube or at a mtb school or something. Pedagogy is not something we often see in youtube's mtb how to's.
Honestly Matt your tutorials are the easiest to understand for me. You have a great way of explaining technique. Could you maybe do a quick vid on bunny hops for us? I know it's been done a thousand times but hearing it from your perspective would be much appreciated.
This is above my pay grade at this point so I wont try it, but I wanted to comment and say that was without a doubt the best how to ive seen for bike tricks. Keep up the videos, manual and berms/pumps are two common basic how tos but I THINK you could possibly make a better one than what is out there! Just a thought!
There’s a a pole that I am going to start using called the rhino pole ext and you can lock it straight or have it spin around your head plus it mounts in the standard GoPro mount
Hi Matt thanks for taking the time to explain jump methods I’m sure you’re younger subscribers will find this very useful and keep up the great work your a inspiration to your younger supporters . I’m 54 lol! And love riding MTB I’ve subscribed and B watching 👌 Matt take care thanks Ed.
I feel that the perfect Hoffman Condor form should have been mentioned! ;) great how to.... it might take me a while to learn though because I've lost my Big Boy pants
Matt Jones is soo underrated...... I can't wait to see some proper edits,,,,, what u see is only half of what he's capable of imagine if there was a gopro on his head set I'd watch all day long
I've been hucking myself into a foam pit trying to learn 360s. Please do a tutorial on 360s! I landed one yesterday on a step up but could not do it again. Can't seem to get my head wrapped around it.
Which direction should I move my arms to make it look the best? I have been doing them horizontally for years but I have noticed some guys stretch their arms up vertically. what's your favourite?
Great vid Matt, not one to usually comment but these kind of videos are gold! I’ve been hoping for a decent how to on a barspin and a 360 for a while, any chance of that?
lol @ “if you do a tuck and land like this - DEAD” - hopefully before my death I see a soaring falcon or fighter jet or cow in a pasture 🤣. In all seriousness- this was an absolute eye opening how to video- thank you. Absolute Legend!
your feet need to be able to move on the pedals and the cranks need to rotate as you pull the bike to your waist, so actually don;t squeeze the cranks too hard, try to relax your feet and focus on pinching with your knees
How to tailwhip a dh bike plz

I like how you break down what this skill can develop into and how it’s a fundamental into other movements
Cheers for the tips. Pulled my first tuck no hander today on a fly out, age 37. Next step to pull it on the dirt jumps.

airing quarter pipes on dj would be a great one!
Legend going to learn this one at the park.
When you are faster than notification 😎
Yes! good work
not very difficult concidering how shit notifications are on youtube
MJM Productions they work very good in my case.
"if you do a tuck and are ready to land like this...DEAD" - My favourite description so far.
Thank you I feel heaps more confident
DUDE! You just had a brilliant Idea for a world's first and totally brushed it aside: Do a Tuck Y-M-C-A!!
I like your suspension headset.
yo rad vid you should do more of these
"If you're doing s tuck and you're ready to land like this, DEAD!" thoroughly enjoying the dramatic emphasis on this video!
Like the how to you should definitely do more
thanks man, I'll do more for sure!
I've been hucking myself into a foam pit trying to learn 360s. Please do a tutorial on 360s! I landed one yesterday on a step up but could not do it again. Can't seem to get my head wrapped around it.

Nice
What's with the twenty minutes of black screen at the end? Lol. I loved this video
Omg can u please do more of how to please like barspin or 360
Can you do a basic jump techniques for trails?
Which direction should I move my arms to make it look the best? I have been doing them horizontally for years but I have noticed some guys stretch their arms up vertically. what's your favourite?
Master class 👊🔥
If you land like this "DEAD" 😂😂😂 cracked me up..... good vid dude
Great video. Try give advice then a example then more advice i find its easier to learn that way as it sections off the bulk of information.
okay mate thanks for the feedback, that's a really good idea, much appreciated dude!!
Great vid Matt, not one to usually comment but these kind of videos are gold! I’ve been hoping for a decent how to on a barspin and a 360 for a while, any chance of that?
definitely, i'll do both of those tricks in the near future, i really appreciate your comment man!
That was awesome...great tutorial! You'll get massive views and following doing beginner/basic trick lessons. That's where the meat is at...
Fire content man!!
Matt all my local DJ jumps and my skate parks has snow on them
I’d just like to know how to boost. When I put more effort into jumping I just go further instead of higher.
nice idea, I think i'd quite enjoy explaining that!
continue this please!!
is the tuck no hander alright to with shorts or will i get tire burn when my legs touch the wheel
Now you’ve mentioned doing a wmca I wanna see in action now haha
haha fair play for calling me out on that, i'll give it a go!
I’m guessing a long fast run up & lots of air time
Or hit a 4 set and do each letter on each jump
Dorset Downhill whilst singing it at the top of his voice haha
those darn cows - always gets me
Best vid ever
nice Video!!
Is that Corby skate park? How about a collaboration with Ryan Taylor. He has a slightly different riding style but it could be interesting...
Great video👌 but which one is easier? The suicide no hander or the tuck no hander?
that's a good question! I learned to tuck a long time before suicides so I think that's easier for sure!
Matt Jones Ok thanks mate🤘
Tuckie for me!
tuck is by far dont need to worry about the wind moving the bars or the bike dropping etc
Bro you have to hit a mass kicker and pull a tuck YMCA. Please.
How many times can you spin those bars
Tips to tuck it in more?
Matt can u make a video on track
3.15 ... the look of a cyclist serial killer 🤣🤣🤣 you should do more how to vids tho 🖒 good content
nice video :D
Cool 😎
I would pay good money to see the YMCA tuck Matt!!!!!!
I'm gonna do it!
You're gonna need some serious airtime! Could be a crankworx crowd pleaser!!!!!
Is a tuck no hander easier or harder than a suicide no hander?
Love you channel
thanks dude!
Matt
What tires do you ride
how come you ride with two different types of grips on on your dj bike
I cut the flange off of one grip because it helps me with barpsins
Matt Jones kool
Crank flip next?
lol @ “if you do a tuck and land like this - DEAD” - hopefully before my death I see a soaring falcon or fighter jet or cow in a pasture 🤣. In all seriousness- this was an absolute eye opening how to video- thank you. Absolute Legend!
what happens if you pull the brake when your hands grab onto the bars?
Taylor Koppa You eat shit when you land basically
if it's the rear brake then that's okay, front brake isn't great though, so that's something that will come with practice
make HOW TO BARSPIN video 😀☺️
i always think the airtime is too short( because i don't do massive jumps) , is this possible ?
yes definitely possible, it's possible in a bunny hop, so even on a small jump you can find the time with lots of practice
Matt Jones nice! I will go out and try :))
I can suicide but want to learn tuck-no's but now I can try, could you try and make on on the dirt step up on your wolf ridge as i ride an enduro
sounds good, thanks man!
Thx
YMCA no-hander ftw
I always get worry that my bike is going to nose dive when I'm in the air should I not get worry over that.
Don't lean forward too much, bring the bike to you more than you go to it.
What about your feet. You just squeeze them in towards the cranks?
your feet need to be able to move on the pedals and the cranks need to rotate as you pull the bike to your waist, so actually don;t squeeze the cranks too hard, try to relax your feet and focus on pinching with your knees
