Hello! I love your video, but I have a doubt, when I create my save file and I want to start a new game is there any way to leave it as a save file as "default" or every time I want to start a new game again I have to place lots again, add townies etc?
I’m just trying to figure out what’s a save file & how to save my file so when I remove origin & install it again my progress won’t be all gone. Mac user
I’ve been working on my save file for about a year since I always go back and forth adjusting and renovating things! However you could finish it within a few weeks if you get all your sims and builds from the gallery, then you don’t need to build! If you want to improve with building I’d recommend recreating real life homes/photos first in the sims though 🤍
I can’t find the answer anyway but if a customize a save file, different buildings and townies makeovers, if a start a new game will those changes I’ve made in that save file also appear in a new save file? Or the changes will only be in that save file? Please help
It will only be in that save file, so if you want to duplicate it, go into your customized save and click save as, then pick a new name for your save and you now have two of it!
hey thanks for replying When I do that, it doesn’t duplicate the saves. When I click “save as” and write a new name then go to main menu and load game, yes it shows two save files with the same sim but doesn’t copy anything else, one save still look like the base save file and the other one is the only one with the changes I’ve made, it looks more like a replacement then duplicate 😕
I may be late on this but if I download a save file do my other ones that I had before downloading stay? And can I play this without the map override? 😁

Yes you can have multiple saves in your game and you can install without the map override!
