I'm curious what controversial stuff you heard about Taeyang, because I didn't hear bad stuff at all. He seems like a lovely person, you can watch Suchwita, the episode where Suga had Taeyang as guest, I was plesantly impressed with him really. And he is a big star in S Korea, he was already famous when Jimin was really young, and because he is also a great dancer, he was Jimin's role model.
