Seeing young musicians play makes me want to kick myself in regret for not making more of an effort to be one of them. Ah, yesterday when I was young...
I once sang at a theater in Warsaw in 1997. At that time, the people in Warsaw who took care of me were the most kind people in the world. I want to go back to Poland. Also, this performance is beautiful, bewitching, deep and very excellent.

What a wonderful performance by these young Poles, who carry a great tradition of artistry.
If we were listening to this performance over Classical FM radio and missed the Introduction, we would never guess that this was by a student orchestra. Hope everyone is safe and sound after all this time has passed. Best Wishes from Washington, DC.🙏

I know I've already commented, but I am just so 💖💖incredibly impressed💖💖 with these young musicians. It looks like there could be no more than 1 or 2 years difference in age among them, and they all play like professional concert-level musicians who've been playing for decades. These kids were no doubt VERY carefully culled from a very large pool of top-level teen aged musicians (18, 19 years old, at the most?) to be the very best of the best- or it certainly sounds like that to me. I know there were NO kids in MY high school who could play this well. You *know* what a typical H.S. orchestra sounds like- everyone is playing in their own private key, and the harmony sounds very muddy. My hat's off to both these young musicians, and also to whomever directed and brought this all to fruition. BRAVO! P.S. - Wonderful camera coverage and synchronization, as well! With every key melodic statement, the camera is right on the musician(s) playing it. I hope this video stays up forever!!!!
Fantastic orchestra! We learned of this piece as music from the Swedish series "Johan Falk" and are thrilled to see and enjoy it in its entirety. God bless these young musicians and their conductor for bringing beauty into a world of otherwise vulgar performances.
wow... spellbound. Professional orchestras often overdo the drama even in quiet pieces, so the sound gets lumped into my ears like it's being thrown off a shovel. Whereas this performance was beautiful- enjoyed it
I feel this is my favourite video of this piece on RUclips. It is quite beautiful. It is a terrible shame there wasn't more people there to witness such a fantastic performance. It's a good job it was recorded for us all to enjoy. Bravo :) x
