- JERUSALEM, Israel - Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) founder Yigal Carmon told CBN News how the Arab world is reacting to the devastating attacks on Hezbollah this week.

We in the west (myself included) typically see the MidEast/WestAsia in an overly binary way. It was interesting that he highlights that there is not one monolithic enemy there. The Sunni/Shia is always present to some extent & various groups & countries may not react as one assumes. Interesting things from his analysis.
I am glad he points out that the exploding devices were targeted to the bad guys. Others in the media try to play up civilian casualties when they were actually kept lower than they could have been, by design.

The Palestinians don't have a choice. They are fighting for their freedom. You don't want to be friends with them, you want to continue to dominate them. How can they be friends when you expelled them from half of their land, continue to take from and expel them from the half that was supposed to still be their's, and don't let them be an independent country or allow them to be citizens of your own country. I suppose the Lebanese do have a choice but they are standing in solidarity with the Palestinians
