This is the most genuine story I have come across of a deportee. Huyu mama is so honest. Honesty is spiritual power!! I have been in the US for about 20yrs. I’m grateful to God for my status as a citizen. I however have had relatives who’ve had deportation and when they get back home they tell their stories very differently. They tell people what people want to hear. That’s s no help to others who may be facing the same predicament, and of course to themselves. I believe that when one is not ready to tell their true story to not say anything until they’re ready or not at all because they owe no one any explanation anyway! I applaud Harriet, and Atis( see Tuko/ A Moment with Justus) for coming out and sharing their stories, genuinely! It takes a great sense of maturity, humility, great courage to come out like this. I pray for you Harriet. The help/support you gave, is not in vein. God’s timing is the best. God loves you. Keep the faith. Never give up mama. I hear you. I pray for you. I am from South Africa, living in the USA, and trust me we all know what are the circumstances of being deported. You gamble and unfortunately she lost after so many years, get yourself sorted before wasting your youth and feeling like you are played. Trust me No country owe you a damn thing.30 years of experience but nothing usually to show, I tell you my brothers and sisters. Let make Africa a place to never leave.
I have listened a half way & I can't continue to the end. It's painful. In America when one is on the wrong side of the law na akuna makaratasi, hell opens loose. Pole sana mama. To me, it appears the lady accommodated crooks. Even if at first she didn't know, but she must have also benefited. That's how she could help so much at home, buy a house at Buruburu & another one in Lavington. For it was not possible to do all that with the meager earnings of house keeping. I am not, at all, blaming her. I have heard of a number of people who have been into such deals and have been nubbed & are serving jail terms. That was her destiny & from the bottom of my heart, I feel compassion. 😔
Yes most people don't know that when you don't have papers it plays differently. You can not say she was involved though but criminal background check is required when renting
Yes she must have benefited they could have been paying her very very high rent since she didnt not do the background checks they were paying her probably the rent in cash
For me something doesn't sound right that you rent people your house that you really don't know about their backgrounds and you know very well in America it's all about the law..plus you have no pepa..hapana! Sometime we have to be selfish..Makena focused on $$$ and forgot about her own soul plus her own kids back in kenya..money is not everything in life, all her hardships in US ni mzipa wa kujitakia..she had her sound mind when doing everything she did plus listening to her mean husband who set her to work as he moved on with his life..forgive me for being judgemental but surely we should not be putting people on the mix after we screw up.
Harriet is my cousin. She is so caring and good heart she helped many when she was there. But for now she is suffering with her sick mother. The lady is always honest and very hardworking but for now she ad nothing. I love you so much dear. God will show you the way to take mom to hospital

Parents please have pity on your children when they travel abroad. Advise or even help them invest back at home i.e. buying plots or a house. Lesson learned, help 20% and invest the rest unless someone is sick.

Madam Harriet your such a strong lady sad story 😢
You're so right 💯%✓√✓√ I think we did not know about this. Invest home when abroad
@@estherfavored2514 some pple do try to invest back home back things fall apart
Pp play you and cheat you at home.
I think she went when she a girl from 2000 to 2019
Harriet is my cousin. She is so caring and good heart she helped many when she was there. But for now she is suffering with her sick mother. The lady is always honest and very hardworking but for now she ad nothing. I love you so much dear. God will show you the way to take mom to hospital
God Bless you Harriet! He is faithful. Your prayerful self will see God's grace and mercy in a special way. Amen.
I can imagine the fate of Makena as a black woman, and secondly as a foreigner
This is so heartbreaking 😭😭, people taking advantage of innocent blood, and making you suffer like a criminal.
Sorry and hugs dear one
