I can feel Sun holding back when he talks to Earth. He doesn’t say anything about how Moon abused him in the past, how he wishes he was put out of his misery, how Moon’s outburst reminded him of the old moon and how he’s questioning himself. Sun also not knowing the date off the top of his head shows that he doesn’t pay attention to his environment. You can also tell he’s depressed with the way he’s talking, how his tone is as cheery as it used to be, how that special happiness is drained. Sun needs a hug ❤

It honestly makes sense Sun would be afraid of Moon getting angry since he can't get him to calm down previously whenever that happened. It was great, Solar was there to calm him down so he wouldn't need to power Moon off to stop him from getting violent suddenly.
I dont think this moon would have gotten violent, at least not towards sun and solar. That's definitely old moon territory. This moon hasn't done anything close to that, and I don't think he ever will, but sun's fear of that is valid and reasonable given the traumatic experiences with old moons anger. His relationship with old moon definitely left trauma, and no matter what this moon does or says to reassure him, that's not going away.

Honestly I love the fact that Sun is getting therapy finally, but I feel like there is more that needs to be addressed. Like, sun is scared of moon getting angry for more reasons than just him doing something rash. Moon getting angry and hitting Sun with sticks was a running gag in the series for a long time, and he also just straight up hit Sun on screen on several occasions. I know that earth probably doesn't know about that, but they really never talk about how much it must have affected sun. I love the series and have been here since the begining, but I feel like they brush past a lot of the issues with Sun just because it's been a long time even though it clearly still affects him in a negative way.
I also feel like that for sun therapy isn't the best, it's been shown and told that sun doesn't like talking about sensitive stuff, he's uncomfortable with it...

Either hes trying to keep his cool or hes aware hes currently stronger than eclipse since the star is destroyed and so hes at least able to not panic, at least not heavily-
I feel like at least part of the problem sometimes is that they have communication issues when someone does something that upsets them. It then just builds up until one of them snaps and they have an argument that hurts everyone involved. It might be best for them to have a group therapy session so if there’s an issue, they can talk it out right away rather than letting it sit for ages, and it’d be in a place they’d feel safe to talk things out. It’d also be beneficial because there would be people around to de-escalate the issue if it got out of hand.
This episode was good. I'm glad Sun is *finally* getting some on-screen attention towards his mental health, he really needs it. Though, I'm not overly fond of Earth saying that they talk at the end of every week at 2:37 , not because I'm *happy* to let Sun be ignored, but because it just feels sort of cheap. These talks were never alluded to before, and I feel like they're just to mitigate the discussion of the siblings' very real neglect towards Sun. And it feels like it's *telling us* that Earth is still attentive towards Sun, rather than *showing us.*
I'm feeling exactly the same... And the way Sun was constantly saying that he was feeling okay before Eclipse appeared.. 🙄 When for me it didn't seem like that... I don't like when showrunners try to force onto me how I should perceive something when things are only hinted and never shown properly on-screen...

I don't want to dump onto you my personal experiences so I'll try to keep it simple and short.. but the things that Sun was talking about with his hallucinations seem not resolve in any way to me.. Because BM's hallucination told Sun that Sun needs to accept the truth.. the same thing Eclipse told Sun in "Sun meets Eclipse" episode.. And for me it seems that the "truth" they were talking about is that Sun not only feels responsible for bad things that happened.. but that he feels like he's evil.. For me it looks like that because I had such issue myself and Sun acts the exact same way as I did with things that were happening.. The things he was talking about with his hallucinations are pretty similar to what I experienced with the voice I was hearing... And also it really seemed that Sun had psychotic episode during February/March.. and the fact that he's suicidal.. For me there were many signs to that.. But idk what to think about all of this anymore.. this episode irked me in some moments.. Sun barely said anything.. yeah he explained how he physically felt and somewhat emotionally too.. but I think that Sun didn't say more than we already knew... Which is a bummer... The last part of the vid was pretty suspicious tbh.. cause the way Earth and Lunar were talking about recorded therapy session with Sun.. it felt weird in almost threatening way as if they were planning to use it as some sort of blackmail...

We love how when they were told eclipse is alive and well Earth was just like “oh that nice anyways” and lunar just stays silent and is just like well my brother that was (to put it lightly) a horrible person.
This was good, it was nice to see Sun have this session with Earth even though I do feel there's a lot more to unpack here. I kinda wish we got to see more of the talks between these two and see the progression but I get why it might have only been mentioned in passing. Even though I believe Moons anger is justifed, I can understand why Sun is wary of it. However it did kinda feel like Sun didn't get the time to react to Eclipses return in a sense because Moon was so angry and Solar was trying to make sure he didn't go on a ramage , hope that makes sense?? but now the panic has set in and Sun feels the need to distract himself more.

Though, I'm not overly fond of Earth saying that they talk at the end of every week at 2:37 , not because I'm *happy* to let Sun be ignored, but because it just feels sort of cheap. These talks were never alluded to before, and I feel like they're just to mitigate the discussion of the siblings' very real neglect towards Sun. And it feels like it's *telling us* that Earth is still attentive towards Sun, rather than *showing us.*

I don't want to dump onto you my personal experiences so I'll try to keep it simple and short.. but the things that Sun was talking about with his hallucinations seem not resolve in any way to me..
Because BM's hallucination told Sun that Sun needs to accept the truth.. the same thing Eclipse told Sun in "Sun meets Eclipse" episode..
And for me it seems that the "truth" they were talking about is that Sun not only feels responsible for bad things that happened.. but that he feels like he's evil..
For me it looks like that because I had such issue myself and Sun acts the exact same way as I did with things that were happening..
The things he was talking about with his hallucinations are pretty similar to what I experienced with the voice I was hearing...
And also it really seemed that Sun had psychotic episode during February/March.. and the fact that he's suicidal..
For me there were many signs to that..
But idk what to think about all of this anymore.. this episode irked me in some moments.. Sun barely said anything.. yeah he explained how he physically felt and somewhat emotionally too.. but I think that Sun didn't say more than we already knew... Which is a bummer...
The last part of the vid was pretty suspicious tbh.. cause the way Earth and Lunar were talking about recorded therapy session with Sun.. it felt weird in almost threatening way as if they were planning to use it as some sort of blackmail...

Tbh, ever since Sun was panicking on bringing Moon back from his mind and firming those signs on the ground by that magic lake full of magic, he hasn't been cried in a while after that in a long time. I wonder how he's going to continue doing this(He's probably going to fake it till he makes it but if he can't make it, go find a room by yourself, talk to yourself for a bit, and when you feel like it, just let it out (btw, the room that he should be in is a sound proof so that no one can listen to you cry yourself too sleep or to cry until you can't cry anymore)

The only thing missing in Earth's therapy office is one of those therapy lounges. I hope Earth still has family/group therapy. I think Ruin should make an appointment. This was good, it was nice to see Sun have this session with Earth even though I do feel there's a lot more to unpack here. I kinda wish we got to see more of the talks between these two and see the progression but I get why it might have only been mentioned in passing. Even though I believe Moons anger is justifed, I can understand why Sun is wary of it. However it did kinda feel like Sun didn't get the time to react to Eclipses return in a sense because Moon was so angry and Solar was trying to make sure he didn't go on a ramage , hope that makes sense?? but now the panic has set in and Sun feels the need to distract himself more.
