Just even out the grass and make it look like a hill or something and save the coordinates and write it down somewhere, it's so much easier. But the rest of the house was epic, nice job on the interior stuff.
I play crafting and building, it's a free minecraft with slightly different textures and wanted to recreate that base but when I was taking the first three steps and was about to dig myself down the sticky plunger on the left side didn't move and I was unhappy with it, but the idea and the video was very nice.
I did this all (in 1.14) (I had to change a few designs) and was the best base ever! The entrance is absolutely genius and I love the fact that there is no button or leaver. Great work! ( Also, try making the glass doors 1 block further apart and place concrete between the glass and the piston, it makes it a lot better) :)
Imagine if there was a secret base from your friend that hides in your secret base in secret room then your second friend was be like: I'm just gonna beat the ender dragon😬😅🤣

Instead of using redstone in that area, use redstone comparator .
