This thing sucks big monkey balls I just bought It, charges slow, steering wheel blocks it and the charging cable is a pain to hide. Returned it. Definitely not worth 100$ that's ridiculous.

Thanks for the feedback! I experienced a problem where ours fell off because the glue got too hot. I asked them about it, and they sent me another, but it happened again. I recommend leaving a review on their website. I doubt they read these comments. Hopefully, it's something they can improve upon. I'll pin your comment, though, so others know.

You can route the cable easily by removing the carpeted panel and putting the cable beneath it. Use your yellow plastic pry tools to remove the panel. Also, MagBak sells an iPhone case that has extra magnets to make the connection more secure. I've been using the charger/mount for several years now and I love it, mostly with an iPhone XR, but recently with an iPhone 15 Pro. As you said, it's great for running Waze.

Ahhh, thank you so much! I've pinned this comment. Yes, you're right. MagBak has phone cases that work well with their products.

bro there are a ton of alternative holders that keep the phone 1 inch away from the screen.. you really need to revaluate all the options you should have returned this.

    could have discussed charging speeds..

Yeah, charge speeds didn’t really come to mind. For me, it was more about the new location of the phone while driving. It charged and had no issues. According to their website it does 10W, 7.5W, and 5W standard charging modes.

Not very good design esp for your pro Max. There are a number of other screen attachments that attach to the infotainment screen of the Tesla for much cheaper and made of aluminium.

Ohhh, please share a link or the make/model. I'm always curious to find something better.

It’s not SAFER than just not using your phone.
Just leave your phone in your pocket. Nothing you need to see whilst you are driving. If it’s that urgent then pull over.

You’re correct. But it’s still a bummer that Waze, apps for audiobooks and podcasts are not available on screen due to Elon missing app store or auto/carplay. Miss them every day.
But yes, do not fiddle with a phone while driving..
