I listened to this story a long time ago in your older videos. Now I understand it better, as my English has become much better.
I think it is very good that you do not reveal some details of ceremonies. There are too many charlatans who would make mischief with the knowledge and this must not happen. I think it is a great pity that many Lakota today do not have this knowledge or do not believe it.
    That is very sad.
I hope in time there will be more who will rely on the truly ancient knowledge of their nations (not just the Lakota, also
all the other native nations of America) will come back. People like you, Dave, are helping to make sure that this knowledge is not lost and that other people are made aware of the beauty of it. I can't thank you enough for that.

Listening to you had me thinking about so many things .And I am looking forward to studying with you soon .
I heard a grandma say the name of the chief was Wotanyan Couldnt miss with an arrow .I was also thinking on the adornments associated with the stars of wica akiyuhapi and the hole in the center that Fallen Stars Mother .7 Ikoyaka waste .I was thinking would the 7th virtue to be fertile closest to the whole created by harvesting tinpsila and birthing wicohpi hinpaye .
Thinking of the songs appropriate for all occasions during the ceremonies .
Good medicine for me .Lila wopila .

I always appreciate listening to your stories and I especially appreciate your humor. I had a good laugh when you used the lady with the tampon taped to her head as an example. Thank you for the good laugh and medicine.

Yes, I love that humor, too.
I'll never forget how he explained the meaning of the Lakota word o'ihe (means bathroom 😂) in one of his Lakota mini lessons.

Hi David, have you heard about the man and the buffalo in the Tree as representations of Iya and Gnaska? That they would be shot out of the Tree and banished by the people?
Was pulling skulls traditionally done in the hocokan of the Sundance? I heard it said it was an appeal for forgiveness and done outside the center. Thank you for your content.

Perhaps would of been better for this beautiful Planet if the wolves could of exterminated the whole humankind..we don't deserve it..look what we've done to IT and to one another! We created viruses in labs to kill one another..we are the plague of this Planet! ( with a few exceptions, of course!) You have beautiful stories❤

Yes, sometimes I think that too. The greed for wealth and the greed for power destroys little by little our planet, so also mankind itself.
      Best regards

@@svenskitchen-cookinginout9198 I know...we are playing God and we decide who's to live and who's to die, while making millions of dollars/sterling..etc..don't these people know, they can't take it along when they die? And I'm worried we are moving on to discover=destroy other planets ..I truly hope it won't be possible 🙏
