The good thing about Infinite's dances is they are sharp and memorable but leave room for vocals. When you do full professional dancer-tier choreography like they do now, live performances become only that. Infinite have always liked to give everything to their live singing, and they often even perform with live bands at their concerts, etc. to really spoil their fans. (We are so damn lucky.)
Be Mine is such a good start to discover Infinite's discography. This was the song that put them on the Kpop map. Considering that they did not come from the Big 3 of that era (SM, YG, JYP). They literally cried when they won their 1st music show award. Also if you do ever get around to their variety shows (they are also known as variety kings), I strongly suggest Infinite Sesame Player, the quality is horrid but it will show you how hard these boys worked to plug Be Mine to the masses, doing groundwork promos by themselves. And yes, Dongwoo is so distinctive especially now that he's the only rapper left (I hope you also check out Infinite H - the hip hop spinoff with Dongwoo and then-rapper Hoya.) Trivia : they were both trained by the rappers from Epik High which explains why they are so fooking good! This was a great reaction!
No lie. ''2nd gen is different'' It's why 2nd gen is called the golden era of kpop.1st gen was more like western pop/Jpop influenced (yet the vocals were top tier). But with second gen till early 3rd gen with groups like Exo, BAP, BTOB,VIXX each group had their own sound and style. They were damn good with live vocals and performance. Wİth 3rd gen copycat groups started to emerge so group sounds and concepts became more similar to each other and with 4th gen because of too much focus on dancing live vocals started to disappear. Of course there are still good and talented artists from each generation but it's less common now. The success of 2nd gen is you could pick up any random group to listen and they would still be good and would have many bops.
Hehe....this song is what solidified their career as idols. Been with these guys since their pre debut and coming from a small company they really did made a name for themselves. Thank you for reacting to them, as their fan am grateful

yes they had two rappers, one that you recognised is dongwoo, the other rapper is hoya , both main rappers and main dancers too, hoya left group and agency in 2017 the reason you will not see him in stuffs after that
