Westmount, Outremont & Town of Mount Royal are top three in Montreal.

Town of Mount Royal is right up there with the wealthiest, absolutely spectacular neighborhood.

Actually, you were not in Westmount, you were still in Montreal, you presented Redpath Crescent above Downtown, Westmount is about 1 KM west of this part of the city.

For such enormous homes, they all seem to have rather small garages. BTW, the person in the Range Rover has got their eye on you. 😉

Ron, kid was practicing his driving around the neighbourhood! Since it’s barely no heavy traffic there :)

Most of the homes were built in the 1950-1970's before big garages were the thing.

Most of the homes were built in 1910 or before, I have a client there and his home is 200 YO so the garage part was retrofitted later when cars became available.
of course, some houses were added between the previous larger houses estate making them denser, unfortunately, many of the most glorious houses of the Golden square miles have been demolished or given to McGill University and are now in a very bad state because the Unversity does not care for them.
A lot of houses in Montreal had a place for horses and an entrance through the ground floor to access the back where they kept the horses, still use today but for cars.
