On this episode of Breaking Trail, Coyote spots a Burmese Python that is much more aggressive than he bargained for!
Burmese Pythons are notoriously invasive to the South Florida region and although they are found quite frequently by local researchers Coyote very rarely spots them on his adventures…that is, until today!
While driving between locations Coyote sees the large snake from the passenger seat and immediately jumps out of the Jeep to get a closer look…however this snake has other plans, and gives Coyote a serious standoff!

Really shows the kinda personality Burmese pythons have, so chill once it realized it wasn't gonna get eaten, even though it was likely born in the wild and never handled by humans before. Such pretty animals.

My 9 foot Coastal carpet python is as tame as a puppy dog. Unless they feel threatened, it takes alot for them to want to tag you (depending on the individual snake of course.) They're bites are also not too bad (getting a tattoo for instance, imho rates far worse as far as pain!)
Barely any animals want to kill or hunt humans the only reason why they do so is because they feel threatened
