No offense to many fan designs. But this one is a pretty believable ship, it feels like something Starfleet would go for. Somewhere between Constitution, Neo-con, and post ENT progression
It feels more realistic than most. I like the fact that you don't have to fly towards the impulse engines before you can access the hangar, as you must on so many other ships. There is no unnecessary elevation or angling of the nacelles, which makes the pathway for the plasma simpler. The overall "in line" or flat profile could arguably make it more energy efficient to generate various force fields around the ship, whether navigational or tactical. It also improves the arcs for directional sensors and weapons, so that your most powerful emitters can see more sky without having to move the ship to check blindspots.
@@lukedogwalker the reason for the angling in most cases is because both nacelles need clear line of sight to each other in order to operate most efficiently. In original illustrations (at least for Motion Picture) there is supposed to be a stream of plasma connecting between the two while at warp. They just didn't have the VFX ability to properly visualize it in 1979, so the idea was scrapped.
I sure wish I had those skills... I need an intro for a teaser reel for a fan film. I need a TOS version of the constitution class as NCC 1717 USS Yorktown. It comes upon a space time rift, a small time scout ship (Aeon type) comes through and circles the Yorktown as it tries to keep it from boarding the hanger deck. Then next scene the rift was closing now surges open much larger to allow a Wells class time ship to come through and stops nose to nose with the Yorktown. There will be more needed once we get crowd funding to help pay for things like special effects...
Wow. You are ridiculously talented. I am shocked. I mean seriously, this is ‘studio model’ level of realism. How is it a RUclips content creator can create more believable visuals than Alex Kurtzman’s NuTrek garbage? Discovery or Strange New Worlds is so blurry and dark and dystopian. This was uplifting and beautiful.
I manually color graded this in the color page. There's some really good coloring tutorials for fusion on RUclips where they show you how to use all the various wheels/graphs and what the goal should be.
A good design makes a Hollywood Producer feel like HE is in control of the vision.

But, there is the fact that it makes no sense. Its a horrid use of space, that even Starfleet wouldn't normally be guilty of.
@@kborak What? How is it a horrid use of space? How does it not make sense?
Its not a fan design though, is it? Its the starter ship class from the Starfleet Command games on PC from back in the 90's

Gorgeous!! I love the big chunky nacelles and the shuttle bay in the lower part of the secondary hull. The TMP aesthetic never fails to disappoint 👌👌
Nice, the Okinawa Class from the Starfleet Command PC game. Lots of great designs available from that source, nice to see one!
definitely an updated okinawa class which is also on ST: Klingon Academy.
This is very cool, a higher quality of vision achieved here than I usually see.
Blender and DaVinci the magical duo.. very good work.
A new take on the Okinawa class from the Starfleet Command games. Nice.
Beautiful. With that registry number, she must have seen a lot of action and refits over her lifetime.
A fantastic video and well done! Hopefully more to come of this ship design
Really enjoying all these innovations
Awesome rendition of the Okinawa FF! Subscribing for sure.
the only problem with this is the like button only lets me click it once
Please sir ..........I want more !!!
That was well put together. well done
Wow, I really found that awesome! Reminds me another space sci-fi franchise I am found of.
May I ask what that franchise is out of curiosity?
@@keyboardt8276 lmao same i want to know
That's a beautiful render. Thank you for sharing!
Really well done! I'm ready for more!
That gave me chills. Excellent. Awesome name. USS Lapwai
Thumbs up in my book. 👍
The ship design is well conceived and looks cool too.
Wow. This is incredible and incredibly beautiful too.

Very nice!
Judging by how tiny it is.....definitely a scout ship. Looks good.
THAT'S a nice looking ship!

Thank you! There's still many little issues with this before I'd call it "studio quality" but I'll work on that for the next one!
Yes! This looks great! I love seeing ships from Trek games. I actually built this ship design at 1:1 scale in Minecraft. She has 5 decks.
Really nice.
I'd like to see some Klingon, Romulan, Ferengi and Cardassian vessels as well someday.
awesome
Well that was real nice! Great lines
Hmmmmm...okay....so far so good.
that's gorgeous.
That was beautiful!
what a beauty!
ye gods, how does that rock look so *good*
Beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sick design. Instant sub ❤
Woah!
She's a beauty !!!!❤
Cool name for a Starship.
Nice design, but I think it would've looked better if the nacelles were positioned like the nacelles on the ares class were
💕 Wow🧡🧡🧡💙🧡💙💙
Oh, I like her! She's beautiful!
Looks like a distant cousin to Voyager it looks like a Kirk era intrepid class.
This looks excellent, what sort of filters are you using in Fusion? The colour correction is excellent

@@whiteroosterproductions5986 thanks for that, I love it but am new to Fusion
So many starships. So little time.
I want to see more of this ship.
Will somebody please tell me -- what is a lapwai? (Besides the ship.)
OK. When is the customized for buyer model coming out?
Cool ship is this a take on the Okinawa Class Starship?
Beautiful design but I wish the nacelles were glowing
what' the soundtrack from?
Great, absolutely great, but what's up with halo music? lol
So now?
Hey, she's cool, all right, but -- what's a lapwai?
So they total sum of y'alls skills is flybys?
