Frankly I think the Twolves are just that good
@@entertainment6871all on Murray, Jokic cooks all of Minnesota’s bigs, been cooking Reid all year and Gobert every since he came into the league.

Mavs above Nuggets is crazy
Lol, they haven't even won their first round series yet.
Nick has no clue about hoops other than hate.
Anybody above nuggets is crazy tbh
@@bagoboy2446 I think Boston makes sense because they're pretty much guaranteed to be in the Finals at this point. The reason they're above the Nuggets is because while the Nuggets are favorites in any individual series they play in, the chances of them actually making it to the Finals are significantly less than Boston (60% vs. 99%)
Mavs in 7
Underrated part of this show is that you know exactly who are going to host it every time. ESPN, Undisputed, TNT... It's too much of a mess to find the videos featuring the guys you like
Yes, the most consistent sports show out there rn
This. I've been trying to figure out why I felt disjointed watching First Take. No consistency with their hosts and takes lol.
great take
I love Shannon, and I love what he's doing now, but nothing came close to the old Undisputed 😢
Nick needs to go. Show would be 10x better without that idiot
Do all of Nick's wildly disproportional Title Pie allocations now go to the Mavs since the Lakers have been eliminated?
Well yes. The teams he likes are coincidentally the teams that are going to win every single game according to him lol
Go mavs!
Absolutely. It’s what he does. I guess 3 people having the right answer isn’t good for business
If you're a fan of any of the other teams it should be comforting to know Nick can't pick basketball winners at all
@@josephr5556as a Thunder fan I’m ecstatic watching Nick say they can’t beat that vaunted mavs

You guys are underrated by the national media. I think you are as good as us(Wolves) or the Nuggets. I think you have a complete team and if the Wolves get bounced and the Thunder are still in I will be cheering for your team.
This show disrespects OKC like crazy
It’s absolutely hilarious that Nick can’t bring himself to say a single positive thing about the Celtics despite giving them the #1 spot on his list.
Apparently they’d lose to the top four Western teams, but still #1.
Yall cry about opinions so much
@@donaldpratt2296Nuggets are only challenger to Celtics
Celtics will sweep rest of west team's
@@donaldpratt2296 yes because they dont have to play all the top west teams, all of those teams have a way better chance of being knocked out before the finals then boston does meaning they would have a lesser chance of winning it even if whatever team faces boston in the finals were to be favored, its just more likely that boston will be there to begin with
@@anddanny2263 the logic makes sense it’s just hilarious to me how he goes out of his way at every step to discredit Boston.
“Dallas would win the east, OKC would win the east” like a certain point can we have the slightest amount of respect for the team that won 65 games with a top 5 all time net rating and point differential and just breezed through the first round??
It’s comical. Nicks irrational hate for Boston won’t allow him to say one positive thing.

Surprised that Lakers didnt get a 5% slice 🙃
How can you put the Mavs in front of Denver when the Mavs haven’t even made the next round. The only reason I’m a little skeptical for Denver is I think Minnesota is a buzz saw that is perfectly built to beat this Denver team
Well twolves were built by the guy who drafted joker Murray and mpj and if I remember correctly traded for Gordon too so if anyone would know how to build to beat nuggets it's him but still doesn't have a joker or a way to actually slow joker really but it should be the best series this postseason likely even including the finals tho nuggets mavs is possible for that title but joker seems to eat better playing both those teams than most so who knows can't wait to see it tho
You just answered your own question Mavs have an easier path to the WCF while Wolves/ Nuggets will be tough

Chris thinking about break dancing 😂
How do you have the Mavs having a bigger slice than the Nuggets when they haven't even gotten out of the first round?!?
As a Celtics fan, Nuggets should hold the #1 spot until proven otherwise.
I get why the Celtics would have the best Vegas odds given their easier path but that nuggets team knows how to win close games better than anyone else.
Mavs are so overrated man
No, no they really shouldn’t. Winning the title last year doesn’t grant you preferential treatment the next year. The Nuggets are a great team dont get me wrong but odds are they don’t even make it out of the West.
Only 8 teams have won back to back NBA championships (some of these being dynasty teams).
The nuggets are a vulnerable team. They barely beat the Lakers and already lost game 1 at home against Minnesota. Anyone pretending that they're more likely to win than Boston just isn't paying attention.
Boston has by far the easiest road to the finals. They should sweep or lose 2 games at most for the rest of the eastern conference. Whoever comes out of the West will probably play 7 or more games than Boston does. Through out the playoffs.
@@TopGunZero keep sleeping on my Knicks, by the time you see us your Celtics won’t have been as tested as we are. I get your point overall, but that looming Knicks matchup will push the Celtics more than you’d like to think.

I think the real championship (2 best teams) is Den vs Min
The Celtics are 1-1 versus the Wolves this season. And 0-2 versus the Nuggets, but Murray and Porzingis both have minor injuries.

The Thunder are young but more than ever the modern NBA favors youth and athleticism. I think people are sleeping on them, they could make the Finals.
Complex tactics are also needed, to make a deep playoff run.
The title pie beat goes hard 🔥🔥
Lakers Slice should go directly to DNVR. Terrible Title Pie.
Minnesota won one series in 300 years and all of a sudden they are better than the nuggets.

I don’t think Denver will have as much of a problem with Ant as Nick thinks. I think KCP and MPJ can be serviceable in that matchup. The issue for Denver imo is how they matchup up to the stretch 4s for Minnesota(Reid/KAT)
Well they didn’t look great yesterday against him. We’ll see as the series goes on….
Y’all in the comments saying Nick hates the Nuggets bc he has the Mavs above the Nuggets. Nick is NOT SAYING that the Mavs are better than the Nuggets.
Do y’all believe the Nuggets have a better chance of beating the Wolves than the Mavs have vs OKC? Cause I don’t. Again no one is saying the Mavs are better.
Vegas does
I'd watch Wildes have his lunch on air while these two go at each other
How is that breakdancing music LOL
His point about how the thunder are actually a great team and didn’t just get lucky to win the west is no one on the team was ever really hurt and they had the most consistent minutes from their starters is just crazy.
Man that’s DEFINITELY breakdancing music 😂
Nick trying to dance around his past Gobert takes is hilarious
Wildes should do an NHL pie... Go Bruins 👍🏻
I think that if a person picks a team that always has in injuries, in the rule book it should be stated that they have to stay with that pick even if they get injured for example kawahi so brou according to the rules your team is out
Nick stays hating on the nuggets , Celtics and warriors lol
As a Miami fan, defense doesn’t always win 😭 😂
Wildes is a legend!
Nick is being dragged kicking and screaming into the Nuggets being in top. Every other possible option will be exhausted
Watching the timberwolves was wildly impressive. They or Denver win the chip this year
The Celtics' best player in the regular season was Porzingis. He has some minor injury at the moment. The best Celtic in the post-season has been Derrick White. Tatum is dubbed the MVP, mostly because he's a young american, but he can also play. Jaylen Brown has played better than Tatum recently. And then they have Jrue Holiday with a ring, and Al Horford.
Nick really hates my Eagles and Nuggets smh
Since the Lakers aren’t in, Title Pie makes more sense 😅😂
Chris right somewhere brushing his shoulders off
mavs having a bigger slice when they haven''t finished the first round is a molten take nicky
honestly take like 10% of the mavs slice and split it between the nuggs and celtics and it's a good pie.
Nick hates the nuggets as much as he loves the chiefs
Putting Mavs over reigning champs is crazy Nick Wrong does it again
What a nutty title pie, nuggets should have bigger slice
Be ready to look at the Nuggets pie getting bigger and bigger every day. Day 1 of the finals is going to be 45%. Day 6 of the finals is going to be 100%
It’s crazy to suggest, but the truth is that the team whose share of the pie they got the most off is the Boston Celtics. They have over 70% just to get to the finals according to Vegas (no competition in the east) and they will be the favorites in the finals no matter who they play. Boston realistically should have about 45%
Totally agreed with this takeS their odds of making the Finals are about 75% and their odds of winning it all are about 50%. I’ll combine those two odds for a Celtics championship at about 60% no matter who they play.
Celtics can't beat the Nuggets or Wolves. They'd have the edge against the Thunder or Mavs. They probably deserve to have 35-40% of Title Pie just because they have a 99% chance to make the NBA Finals.
@@kangamagic1206ok I’m a Celtics hater but they most def can beat the wolves yall idiotic
@@Jay-om2gcit would be a close game. They can win but ide say those games are a tossup
Hey Nick Wrong! Laker's 51%😉😝😂😂😂😎🏀
The hate for Boston is crazy
Why? There is 10 teams left and they got 25%. They are clear favorites. That's realistic. That's how math works in predictions. You need to consider they have injury problems and who knows what can happen in future, you need to take all factors. You can't say they are 80% favorites, just because they are best team in one conference.
@@MarioCindric I’m talkin about him saying if okc was in the east they would beat Boston
@@Prince__Major Well West is much stronger, I can see 3-4 teams at West having much better record if they play at East. Also we can put that statement in other context, like Celtics wouldn't be no.1 seed if they play at West. So if we switch OKC and Boston, I definitely see OKC winning East and I definitely don't see Celtics winning West. But it's stupid comparison since it's all hypothetical. But definitely Celtics have easier path to the NBA finals than any other team at West. That's simply Fact. And that's their biggest Advantage.
@@MarioCindric it’s reason Boston got the best record in the LEAGUE
@@Prince__Major Yes, that reason is because they are playing in weaker Conference. Same thing why LBJ was able to go in 8 straight finals. Nobody is disrespecting the Celtics, people are giving them best chances to win the title, but you can't call them sure thing since they haven't won a single title with this generation and these players. I'm on that same train, but I won't crown them immediately and call them Undisputed champions, even better teams in past were falling down, like Heat 2011, Lakers 2004, Magic 1995, Warriors 2016 (remember them, best record in History of NBA).
I think Nuggets would absolutely wreck the Celtics in 5 games, TWolves and Mavs would also likely beat Celtics who will have Tatum/Brown go missing in the big moment again. But the issue is that TWolves were prototypically built to beat the Nuggets and this year they are healthy. The only team left in the playoffs who can beat the Nuggets are the TWolves.
You guys in comments dont get it. Nuggets might be better than Mavs, the issue is they have a harder path with Wolves
Mavs have the Thunder and then Wolves or Nuggets. And Luka is not 100% due to his knee. That is not an easier path.
My guy, you don't get it. None of his tactics are about their path. He's just anti Nuggets. It's really that simple. He picked against them every time last year. He has a Luka bias. Hot take, the Mavs lose to the Thunder. And the three best teams are the three ar the top of West.
The Mavs gonna have to go through the Wolves anyway if they win
Your whole premise relies on hypotheticals right now. MAv's still haven't even made it out the first round
@@Neofilmcritic And now they have, hows your fail comment?
Timberwolves vs. Nuggets is the NBA Finals. The Mavs ahead of either of those teams is crazy.
Feels like it, right?
I swear the way nick picks his series is zero analysis. He just picks his favorite player in the series, than works backwards from that conclusion. No honest analyst would say they favor the mavs over nuggets.
Denver is going to beat Minnesota. I love Ant-Man, but Joker is the Equalizer.
Denver in Six
I'm a Mavs fan, but Nick is completely overselling the youth/inexperience angle of OKC.
It doesn't matter if they're young, they're a borderline dominant team & very well rounded. Even if the Mavs win tonight, the Thunder will be the favorite to win the series.
It does matter if they're young. Who's better:
- A surgeon who's been doing surgery for 20+ years, or a resident fresh out of med school
- A carpenter who's been working for 20+ years, or a carpenter who just finished his apprenticeship
- A lawyer who's been made firm partner after 10+ years of work, or an associate fresh out of law school
You can be a talented/gifted young surgeon, carpenter, or lawyer, but talent gets you so far: it's experience that will truly make you great in the future to come.
Experience builds the confidence to always be calm, competent and unshocked no matter what you come across, and this is true for any field of work. Playoff basketbal is the same. OKC don't have that experience that the Mavs do. They haven't faced true adversity.
Wildes is so awesome.
Wolves need a PG next year and they’ll easily dominate the league. Conley is solid but just super old & streaky at this point in his career. Tyus jones is a free agent who won’t be too expensive & has lead the league in assist to turnover ratio for like 3 straight years while being a great 3pt shooter and decent enough defender. His defense will be fine due to the fact that the other 4 starters are great defenders. Tyus can run the offense and create easy looks for everyone else along with being efficient when needed. Match made in heaven imo
So the Mavs who haven’t even got outa the first round yet have a bigger slice than Denver?
So let me get this straight. The Lakers supposedly could've won the West if they had beaten Denver. How is Denver not a bigger slice?
😂 bro the Celtics disrespect is outta hand man. What will be excuse if they win it all?
Anybody-above-Nuggets Nick.
💭 the break dancers were coming
Mavs above nuggets even the mavs will not believe it lol!
I think you guys are really missing the boat with how well both Orlando and Cleveland matchup with Boston, I can see a real challenge for them especially if Porzingis isn’t back for a few games. Beyond both teams having a bucket getter in Mitchell and Banchero, the bigs of both teams really don’t have anyone on the Celtics that can stop them.
The Celtics would beat both teams in 5. Magic might have the bugs to annoy the Celtics but the Celtics dominate wing and guard play and are vastly more talented. Neither team is beating the Celtics.
Aaron Gordon is going to guard Ant. The nuggets need to be worried about the twin towers.
FYI Nick, you don't "feel badly" for someone, you feel bad. Your ability to feel is not limited. You wouldn't say "I feel sadly" or "I feel happily". That and Wildes saying wary instead of worry are pet peeves
First comment not about facial hair 😂
Celtics get biggest slice of pie, but only because of path?! No one mentioned Boston’s stats and why they are dominating. It’s easy to say all these teams from the west could beat them but won’t make it to them, but they’ve been knocking on championship door for a few years and can beat any of these teams left. I just don’t think any team can win four against them this year.
The Celtics should be 40% at least. No team left in the east can push them past 6 games.
Boston can always push themselves to a game 7 tho
Didnt Nick say the Lakers would win the title if they beat the Nuggets. How do the Nuggets fall below some teams here?
Okc has not faced the mavs since the trade. They lost the game where kyrie and Luka played
Best them when it was Luka and the g league team and kyrie twice with the bench
As a Celtics fan I had Boston vs NY in the eastern finals. While the media picked the bucks to win I had a good feeling the Damien trade would be a nightmare. You give up your future for 1 guy who scores like 6 more points then jru and is so much worse on D. You were asking for trouble. They should have improved their bench and kept jru and added a good vet. Whatever, go Celtics☘️💪☘️💪
Nick just hates on Denver sports
“Three-one against the Mavs”….
He neglects to mention one win came before the big trade (where Dallas picked up TWO starters) and one came when Dallas rested its entire starting five. So 1-1 when it mattered with Dallas blowing them out by 20 in their win.
I don’t think they fear OKC at all.
There is no reason teams that haven’t qualified to 2nd round yet should rank higher than those teams that already qualified 😂
you know, Nicks takes make absolute sense if you just accept the fact that he can and never will be objectiv
Nick mad cuz his terrible laker prediction was wrong lol
Nick also had lakers at 25% lmaoooo
I hate the title pie music
If the Wolves didn't have Conley I'd be worried about not having Finch. But I trust the vet PG to setup the offense without him
Whos in charge of your thumbnails?
Mavericks better than Minnesota ? I don’t think so
I am a long time Wolves fan, but please stop underrating OKC. I think that there is a mutual guilty pleasure between the Wolves and the Thunder fans to like each other's teams outside of the face-to-face matchup and OKC is really and I mean REALLY good this year. I think they beat the Mavs in 5 or 6. I think that Sota, Den and OKC are all about even and it's anybody's game there. Dallas is a dark horse and if Luka balls out of his mind they could win, but I would not bet on them coming out west.
