Assalaam Alaikum Nafisa. Your advice have always been pearls. I've watched like a zillion cleaning videos but none of them told the trick about the washing of the drawers of washing machine. Thank you sis. I have tomorrow off work to clean. I live in one room with my husband so a lot of organising to do in such a small space where I work live eat and sleep, but very blessed to have a roof over our heads. Hopefully if I finish work early, or speak to my manager I may can do a bit before 4pm inshallah😊

Sis i would really recomment mould and mildew spray from astonish. The mould kinda just vanishes lol and you just wipe the remaining spray residue away. X

Sister most washing machines need to be drained via the bottom compartment on a regular basis, check your manual for instructions, if you no longer have your manual Google the manual 🙂

Assalamu aleikum 🤗 I recommend using a water filter instead of bottled water. It's cheaper in the long term and you don't have to drag all those water bottles. It's also better for the environmental 💚

If you use DAZ soap powder to wash out limescale greese mold you can use it to wash your sink Taps bath tub it does wonders also inside of your toilet basin use your toilet brush. It becomes shiny sparking clean Please let me know what u think and the results. Keep up the motivational and inspirational work your doing sister may Allah reward you abundantly. Ameen.❤️🤲🙏

I want to say something that probably most of you guys don't know. The reason why there's mold in washing machines is the fabric softener. Why? Because the fabric softeners are based on slaughterhouse waste and because it's organic material, specifically animal fats, bacteria likes to grow on it. Basically the reason why fabric softener makes fabric feel soft is, because the animal fats build a layering on the clothes, that feels soft to us. That's really shocking, I know 😔

Yes, the industry is messed up. I recommend stop using that product and instead put some white vinegar in the machine. It softens the clothes naturally 😊👌
It might be one reason but there are other causes as well (we have some mold in ours despite no softener). Check the manual before using vinegar. It can damage some of the rubber seals in the machine and can void some warranties.
👍🏾using vinegar instead of softener with not only soften your clothes but it will keep your machine clean
