Solid content as always, been following you for a while. Glad to see you on these FL streets. Was born and raised in West Palm Beach and any run up or down 95 is a joy to partake in for me. Sucks you had bad weather on this run though. You were spot on regarding the city/town name changes with the transitions being in the right spot, the cities and towns really do blend in with each other like that. AND you were in the HOV lanes coming thru the Golden Glades Interchange to get the view of Miami, was watching specifically for that as well.
Few other tidbits for the ppl: Florida's State Roas system (the white signs with the FL state outline and the black numbers) operate on a similar system as the interstate system. Lower # roads start in the north and go up as you get south. Thats why there's a lot of 800 and 900 state roads down that way.
Also, if you do this run again, start from the county line of Martin and Palm Beach. At exit 87 (Indiantown Road) 95 balloons from 6 lanes abruptly to 10 (4 regular and 1 HOV lane) going south right there after the exit, its crazy...sorry, this is long-winded, just love me a good drive up or down 95!!
Oh, and they out a DDI at Glades Rd exit 45. Thought they were too built out for something like that but hey, cool regardless!
Next stop: Key West
On the northbound video I’ll go up to the Martin County line.
awesome drive
8:28 The best part.
omg yayyyyyyyyy
Now based on how relatively light traffic was this drive was a weekend morning or early afternoon. You wouldn’t see this things moving so well here on any weekday. I-95 is in horrible shape in Broward and Miami-dade county
Nice
👌

As of 2023, Atlanta recently surpassed Miami as the largest city of the Southeast (6,307,000 vs 6,183,000).
Based on watching highway videos like this one, do you AGREE or DISAGREE with ATL being bigger than MIA?
thats metro population
I agree. Although Miami is more dense, Atlanta is more spread out. Athens is even included in the ATL CSA now.
Miami metro feels bigger due to the density but Atlanta has a large land area and lots more room to keep expanding. Now Miami is stuck and has to build up. No more room for single-family homes so the growth slowed down.
@@MileageMikeTravels Miami should've never sprawled by building for single-families; they could've been America's Hong Kong! It's too late now: it's simply a coulda-woulda city. ATL is embarrassing Miami in urbanization, and I don't think the MIA will ever catch up.
@@w-josh Atlanta is definitely bigger and busier; they have more attractions, events, and tourists. Miami is dead: other than a cruise, the only thing they got going on is Brickell Ave and The Beach. Atlanta also has that World City vibe, while Miami is basically Latin America.
I hate the Miami traffic
Me
Some of the overpasses on the highway there were white but most of them were blue
I can make RUclips videos just driving and make money.. about start recording my gig work or something lol
😂
