- I haven't vidded at all this summer - except for finishing an old Sooric vid - but a sudden rush of inspiration hit me when re-watching the PoTC trilogy. I've shipped Sparrabeth since 2006 and to this day I still fully believe that Jack loved Elizabeth. Even after she killed him he planned on winning her over (as proved by the deleted scenes). Anyway, I just wanted to make something that reflected how I feel about Jack/Elizabeth as a couple and their epic story. Hope you like it!
Voice overs (in case you didn't catch them the first time):
Elizabeth: "I think it'd be rather exciting to meet a pirate."
Norrington: "Jack Sparrow, isn't it?"
Elizabeth: "You're Captain Jack Sparrow!"
Elizabeth: "Pirate or not, this man saved my life."
Jack: "I saved your life, you saved mine, we're square."
Elizabeth: "Are you the pirate I've read about or not?"
Tia Dalma: "A man of the sea; a great sailor. Until he ran afoul of that which vexes all men."
Jack: "Peas in a pod, darling."
Beckett: "A marriage interrupted, or fate intervenes?"
Will: "Elizabeth is in danger. We were arrested for trying to help you!"
Gibbs: "Something's got Jack vexed."
Will: "What vexes all men?"
Jack: "A woman."
Jack: "This compass does not point north."
Elizabeth: "Where does it point?"
Jack: "It points to the thing you want most in this world"
Tia Dalma: "Jack Sparrow does not know what he wants."
Jack: "Elizabeth."
Norrington: "He just wants Elizabeth for himself!"
Tia Dalma: "Or, do you know? But are loath to claim it as your own?"
Beckett: "You made a deal with me, Jack, to deliver the pirates."
Beckett: "And what becomes of Miss Swann?"
Jack: "What interest is she to you?"
Beckett: "Step up, claim your reward."
Barbossa: "And what reward does such chicanery fetch these days?"
Beckett: "Her."
Elizabeth: "You'll have the chance to do something courageous. And when you do, you'll discover something ... That you're a good man."
Elizabeth: "I always knew you were a good man."
Tia Dalma: "It was a woman. As changing and harsh and untamable as the sea [...] He fell in love."
Jack: "Pirate."

Really my opinion too. Love Willabeth and Will is awesome but that chemistry between Jack and Elizabeth is unreal.

“the compass points to the thing you want most” casually points to eachother. RIGHT. LIKE THAT WASNT A SIGNAL ELIZABETH.

The directors planned that from the beginning. Sparrabeth should be endgame said the directors. So the chemistry is Not a miracle. It were planned by them. From the beginning. But Disney ruined it.

As much as I love Will&Elizabeth the movies in my opinion hinted to the fact that Jack&Elizabeth had feelings for each other. I personally think that Jack had even stronger feelings for her than she did for him.

I like how their names are linked to birds. Swann, Sparrow… It is a shame that the age difference was so great. I hope to see Keira and Johnny in some other (non romantic) production later because they had a natural chemistry

I always felt that Jack could relate to that speech because of his feelings for Elizabeth. After all, he is the one who replies "a woman!"

I've been shipping sparrabeth since today and I'm really happy I found this video.
I couldn't sleep after watching all five parts of the Caribbean pirates because I was thinking all night about the parts of the Sparrabeth couple.
This is the most beautiful Sparrabeth vid on RUclips so far... I can't give up on them, they should have been endgame, I mean... Wow... I do like William and Elizabeth together, but Jack fell in love too. I needed to see something real going on between them, not just emotional eyes, or a kiss, or the compass pointing to Jack... I needed Elizabeth to embrace what she felt for Jack, before choosing (or not!) William, who is, to me, the easier way, because she could have chosen the complicated and passionate way, which is Jack.
I hope we will see, or heard, about Sparrabeth in POTC 5 (and 6?)...

Well, Elizabeth is back in Pirates 5 and in the trailer Will's starting to look like Jones. So I think Elizabeth wasn't so faithful to him... 😀 Can't wait to see the movie.

I always think she will hide her feelings for Jack but she knows there there if that makes sense and is scared to love Jack and Jack is scared to love her that's why we don't get as much romantic scenes with them but then again we have only really had a few with Will and Elizabeth. Elizabeth's love for Jack is like something that consumes her and makes her 'evil' in a way and that's why her feelings get strong and that's why we see the compass and that cause she's trying to fight her feelings for Jack and trying to find her feelings for Will ( let's be rea though who tf would like Will over Jack I mean common )
Sparabeth to the song Find A Way is romantic. My favorite. And then a good one that shows her torn between the two is to the song In My Veins. 🥰
Elizabeth was afraid she'd fall in love with a pirate, she did defend him after he saved her but he ruined every chance he had with her when he threatened her.
The movies tried to portray that Jack liked Elizabeth but Elizabeth liked William but Elizabeth was Jack's only weakness and you can see him in dead mans chest considering William when William states "Elizabeth is in danger!" Elizabeth knows his weakness and uses that against him.
And Jack only helps Elizabeth's son because he wants to do what Elizabeth would've wanted him to do. He was hurt when she killed him and you can see in the third movie and he tries to keep his feelings more subtle.
But in a Dead mans chest, all the way through to dead men tell no tales William and Elizabeth just drift further and further apart because Williams only weakness is his father.
Jack was to become a "good man".. when he came back to save the day against d kraken.. after the fight and during his final goodbyes with Black pearl.. she came to him. He was just looking at her and didnt say anything.. he wasnt asking for acknowledgement. Right there he was a changed man. The kiss was his reward. It was spontaneous and intimate. After she shackled him.. he was back and that was the end of their love story,, fucking rip mate
